I contacted Nathan at Shield PT after experiencing ongoing hip pain that was preventing me from running and then even walking normally. I was desperate and thought my running days were over. I did everything I could on my own from seeking medical attention, stretching, traditional physical therapy, and resting to no avail. From the initial phone call, to two months of therapy, I am back to running and walking without pain. I had tried traditional physical therapy months prior when the pain became so excruciating I couldn’t walk. Those sessions weren’t conducive and honestly, a waste of time and money. Working with Nathan, he focused on my goals and most importantly, dealt with the root cause of my pain. He is kind, supportive, communicates effectively and gets results. He tailors the workouts and exercises to your specific issue in one-on-one sessions. Once you master those exercises, you progress to different or more advanced versions of the exercises to continue to make effective improvements. The online portal is a great help too.
