I’ve taken 2 classes so far, the adult tap and the adult hip hop. I was so nervous coming in because I haven’t done dance since I was really little but I wanted to do something fun for myself. Taking these classes was the best decision! Lori, the instructor, is so much fun. She makes you laugh and sweat and have fun all at the same time. The girls in the class are amazing too. It’s such a welcoming environment and I really can’t say enough good things about it. Definitely recommend if you’re an adult looking to have a fun time! Less

Everyone is so sweet and they are a judgment- free zone as all ages and advancement levels can go here! They do just for fun classes and competition depending on what you are looking for. The location is also pretty good with well-lit parking as it is located next to a Harris Teeter. Less

My daughter had a great first experience at Showcase Dance Centre! Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly making us feel right at home. My daughter tried the preschool tap/ballet combo class as a free trial and she loved it! She had two adults leading the class who were joyful and energetic. I liked how they immediately built rapport with my daughter, complimenting specific moves and calling her by name, making her feel like she was a part of the group right away. The teachers also corrected moves and positively taught dance classroom etiquette to the students. I enrolled her the same day and she is thrilled to start her weekly classes! Highly Recommend! Less

I took my four year old daughter there and she loved it. We were able to do the free trial on a Saturday morning with Jessica the instructor. The way that she was patient with my daughter was amazing. Jessica notice that my daughter was a little bit upset because she didn’t have on her uniform, but she told her that it is ok. The owner was also a wonderful person. When walking into the doorway, they will make you feel welcomed. I end up signing my daughter up for the class the day of the trial day. Less

We just moved to the area and knew we wanted to enroll our daughter in dance to make friends and have a healthy activity. I found Showcase online and saw they offered a free class to see if it was a good fit for our family. They were great with communicating reminders, answering questions we had about our visit. Everyone was so friendly in greeting us , showing us the studio and explaining all the ins and outs about membership there. My daughter tried two classes and found one she enjoyed. The owner is so involved with being the instructor as well. That’s a nice thing to see. It really feels like everyone there knows everyone and is a dance family. My son loves showcase! He did hip hop there this past year. My husband said it’s the most positive, calm, fun dance recital we’ve ever been to. My son got lots of personal attention and the staff is professional, warm, and caring. They are super responsive to phone calls and texts and understanding when my kiddo didn’t quite fit the mold ! We love Showcase! My daughter has fun in her intro level tap and ballet class, but importantly, she is still learning so much! I love the focus on building skills. I love the teachers (my daughter does too)! Class size is capped to avoid overcrowding. We’re so glad to have found this dance studio. Less

We have been in search for a welcoming and loving environment to send our daughter for dance and we finally found it! The communication from the start has been exceptional. We were welcomed our first night the moment we walked in the door. We were given all the information you would want to know without having to ask in order to sign up. My child loved the Jazz class she tried out with Miss Jennifer, who made her feel so at ease and was extremely encouraging. We signed her up as soon as the class was over. We moved here in Feb, called several dance studios, Showcase was the only one to open their doors to give my girl a tryout! The classes had already started their routines for recital therefore, many doors where closed, normal in the dance world. Thankful for the tryout, they let her in and she worked hard to catch up! Everyone welcomed her in with such kindness! They just had their recital and every costume and every dance was very appropriate! This is a gem in the dance world! From the owner to the staff they are all very talented and create a warm and family inviting experience not just for the dancers but the parents as well.
