Really relaxing haircut, excellent customer service from the greeting, cut and finish. Great my curls and low maintenance attitude to my hair catered for. Took advantage of a bundle voucher so got some lovely samples to try as well. Ooh and a cheeky glass of wine helped too.

Everyone at this salon is so lovely, and the whole salon has such a calm and welcoming vibe. The whole haircut experience is so relaxing, and the no-mirrors really helps you just take a step back, enjoy the process, and let the stylists do their thing. Shannon in particular is absolutely magic and I am obsessed with how my hair has turned out!

I struggle with anxiety and usually find barbers/hairdressers very overwhelming.I also find it hard to get haircuts that are as androgynous as I want them to be - often they end up a bit too gendered in either direction.I think this is probably the first time I’ve left a salon more relaxed than when I went in - it’s quiet, the music is nice, and it’s a revelation not having a mirror in front of you. I had a great haircut from Emilia who really understood what I was asking for. Highly recommend!

I love getting my hair cut here. The stylists and staff are all incredibly welcoming, and the experience is made to be as relaxing as possible. The no-mirror cut is something I didn’t know I needed until this point - I find I actually love chatting with my stylist when I don’t have to look at myself talking! The art they use instead of mirrors has also been fun, interesting, and beautiful at each appointment I’ve booked. I also really appreciate the degendered pricing and styling, they don’t try to give you a cut based on gender but on what you ask for. I would recommend to anyone in south London looking for a great cut + salon experience.

I’ve been going to DKUK for a few months now and everytime the haircuts are really good. I’ve been getting a cut from Shanon and she is really kind and does a great job with my curly hair. The space is always very lovely and creative as well. Would highly recommend, one of the rare places that does curly hair well!

first time client - my hair was long and tangled and was uneven due to some personal circumstances, i really needed a cut and refresh but have been anxious to go to the salon. i chose dkuk and emilia was my stylist and i felt comfortable throughout and ofc loved the result - she listened and understood and overall the whole salon vibe just felt like a safe space for someone like me. (i also really liked the no mirrors policy)
