Called Top Gun yesterday for our summer check up. Received very prompt service. Jacob (a very nice and respectful young man) arrived the very next day at exactly the time they said he would. We have used Top Gun Heating & Air since moving to Ft. Worth. Today, Alex was our technician that performed the routine Spring maintenance on the 4 HVAC units in our home. He is by far the best technician that we have had! Kevin walked me through the process of setting the app up so I can control the system with my phone. I just had a good experience with Top Gun - we had AC failures and we needed two heat pumps ASAP. Scott was great and worked with our limited budget until we settled on two high SEER units that qualify for the fed tax credit.UPDATE - March 2025:We found out over this past winter that Top Gun connected the wires from the two new heat pumps to the thermostats incorrectly and we had no aux back-up heat on our heat pumps.Kudos to John who got us fixed up and working correctly in a timely fashion. We think this is a stand-up company who we now can say has great a great service team. I have to rate them at 5 stars for their response to make things right.

I had top gun hitting an air come out again trying to fix my HVAC system that somebody else had installed before I bought this house they’ve been out to my house several times trying to figure out what’s going on so this time Jacob my tech came out he wired the whole system again from scratch and it is running like it’s supposed to. That’s why I give top gun hitting an error five stars because every time I call them, they didn’t ask any questions they just come out and try to take care of you and once again, I would recommend top gun hitting an air to anyone that has problems or having trouble with her AC and heating thanks top gun heating and air

I've used Top Gun for our AC and heating for the last two years. They do quality work, having done repairs and new equipment installations for my house. They were the only company I found that was willing to do repairs rather than just push full replacement. I recommend their annual maintenance plan to stay on top of maintenance and small repairs. Their technicians are professional, arrive on time, and show patience in working with me as a customer.

I just cannot leave a positive review of this Company. The technician I had (Austin) was great, but the overall price structure cannot be justified. I am a reasonable person who understands these companies need to make money, but charging $2,300 to swap out a blower motor that takes less than an hour of labor is just absurd. The part was $1,400 which is the same as I was quoted at another place a few weeks ago, so adding $900 on top of that is just maddening. I will not use again based on this experience. Considering that I paid $1,400 a little over two years ago for the same job on my other unit, there is no justification for this other than their business model is not affordable for their customers. The only reason we decided to do it was because the weather is going to be miserably cold the next several days and chose to be comfortable above being cost effective.

Alex went above and beyond! Came out quickly and on time. I really appreciated the education he provided, as I’m a new home owner and he thoroughly explained what was going on with the AC. He showed me all the diagnostics he ran, took videos to point to the issue, and went into our attic to check the dampers. So happy to have our issue fixed and 100% recommend Alex at Top Gun.

I can't speak highly enough about Top Gun Heating & Air! It's so hard to find an HVAC company you can trust nowadays, but I'm so glad I was able to. No job is too small, they treat everything with the care you deserve. From start to finish they are wonderful to work with. They have excellent customer service, communication, and technicians who know what they are doing!! I highly recommend!

Give out false information in their advertising. I’ve been in the hvac industry since 17 and have moved to sales. They say you get a $2000 check from the government when installing a heat pump. That is incorrect. The government give you a $2000 tax credit for installing a higher efficient heat pump. They also say installing a heat pump will save you 60% on your electric bill. In Texas this will not be achieved. I work for a large company that does not allow us to make these allegations as they are not true. They can be UP TO 60% more efficient. Be careful and do your research before calling this company and getting scammed. Not looking to crap on any company. But we as HVAC professionals have to hold each other accountable and make sure false information isn’t being given to get a job!

I went ahead and gave them 5 stars because from the install of the new unit to the duct cleaning was pretty smooth process. The office staff was always kind and respectful as were the installers and duct cleaners. The only complaint I have is when they were creating new wood flooring for the unit in my driveway they left alot of nails and screws behind that my car tires could catch. Today I went out and picked up those that I could see hoping for the best!

This is the place to go if you want a great system done right at a fair price. They have installed 4 systems for me in the past 3 years now and I can’t think of a single negative. They stand behind their word and their work, the quality of installation is impeccable, and the crews are the most pleasant and professional I’d say I’ve ever dealt with.
