I was referred to Shields Contracting and Mark came out looked at my chimney Chase cover and the chimney cap. They were rusting out and he replaced w custom made 316 stainless steel. He replaced my patio load bearing post that had water damage at the base with the metal post bracket rusting out. Mark replaced and post and added PVC board around the post to prevent future damage if exposed to excessive water again. Both long term fixes, fast response time and very friendly. He’s currently modifying my lanai screened door so my Cane Corso and German Shepherd can fit through the door without adjusting their natural posture and I don’t have to keep opening every time to let them in the fenced yard. This helps keep all debris out of pool and bugs out!!! Game changer!!! Highly recommended. Also, he referred me to a pool electrician who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable!

Mark helped us with a whole home renovation of our historic home and we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor. When we first contacted him, it was to repair water damage from a leaking chimney. We were so impressed by the job he did that we kept adding more to the scope of work. Demolition, framing, windows, siding, kitchen and bathroom renovations. He did it all.Throughout the process, every step of the way, he was there to offer straightforward answers and honest advice whenever we had questions or concerns.
