Busy Moms Cleaning Co

I signed up for service after seeing an ad about a free cleaning voucher. If i remember correctly, the voucher is dependant on consistent bi-weekly cleanings after one deep clean. Once you reach out there is aggressive persual until you book something, which did make me a but uneasy, but overall I was willing to try the service after seeing positive reviews and needing the help.I live in another city, have 2 young kids, work full time and and am a new grandma, so im really busy these days. I signed up for the cleaning at our vacation house where we spend alot of time with family and friends over the summer. In the initial call and subsequent emails to consult on the job before signing up we went over our needs and their policies. We discussed that there was a lot of wood detail in our home, and I wanted attention to that - dusting/cleaning, as well as the fridge cleaned. I learned after reading their pricing lists that appliances do not get cleaned, which i find wildly surprising for deep cleaning. The lady said she would make a note of this for the staff to consider cleaning the fridge.I have a 1200 sq ft bungalo and was quoted around 520 plus tax for 6.5 hrs of deep cleaning, which worked out to 2 payments of 293.80. The first was a non refundable deposit and the second after completing the job. 6.5 hrs is divided by the number of staff, so 2 cleaners came and were supposed to clean for 3 hrs and 15 min. According to the door security they were only here for 3 hrs so we lost 2x15 min. of cleaning. The house was empty, no dishes, excessive garbage or mess to deal with, just 2 areas (a shelf and a dresser top) where there was some minor clutter, plus a whole room in the front of the house I said they didn't need to touch because I knew it was too cluttered to deal with... we had just had a big paint job. Overall the job was ok, better in some areas than others, so depending on the room. For instance the dresser in hallway was dusted and rearranged, but the shelf in the dining area was not touched. There were definitely other areas that were untouched as well - some dusty floors and baseboards, windows with cobwebs, bathroom ceiling fan, light sconces, furniture and baskets unmoved in the living room and dining area, found a dorito on the carpet in living room.. also I kind of figured that the faucets would get a little bit more attention as there is some grime built up. All it would have taken was a toothbrush to scrub at some of those crevices but I guess they were only wiped down. Again for a deep clean I'm expecting them to be scrubbed free of grime and residue afterward. And then other areas that were done very well with greater attention to detail, like Light switches wiped down and even our toilet brush and plunger looked cleaner.Fridge was definitely untouched inside unfortunately, but I was half expecting that although there was still 30 min they could have attempted it. Plus the fridge was mostly empty since we pack everything up when we leave for the week.So overall I guess I'm more than half satisfied...? not sure how else to put it. Some areas met my expectation and some didn't. I guess it depends on the cleaner and ill give the benefit of the doubt for the early departure and untouched fridge, and blame it on a lack of clear communication.A deep clean is probably not worth it, so maybe just maintenance and hopefully 1 regular cleaner is the key to full satisfaction.
