Ho hum, just another 5 star review, not that they needed it along with all the others. But felt I should leave one after the exceptional experience I had with them replacing the transmission in my 2014 suburu crosstrek. Not that I was thrilled to spend a little over 5k on my car, but they made it almost pleasant. Their price was substantially less than what I expected. And to have it completed in 2 days? Just wow! their professionalism is top notch. obviously highly recommended, just read the reviews. That's why I chose them.

Continental Transmission earned this five star rating the hard way.I brought my 2013 Cruze in after another shop confidently diagnosed the transmission on the back of StabiliTrak and traction control alerts, and told me to get it serviced ASAP. Dan and his team actually put her through a real road test, watched live scanner data, and found the truth: nothing wrong with the transmission at all. The actual problem was a cylinder 1 misfire from a failed valve cover gasket, oil pooling, and a fouled ignition coil. Separately, a water pump bolt from a prior repair elsewhere had backed out and was rubbing the drive pulley, which was the source of an intermittent whine I'd been chasing for weeks. They also caught a cracked intake snorkel that should have been flagged long before it got to them.What stood out was the process. Dan listened to my dashcam audio, asked the right questions, and didn't guess. When I laid out the full repair history on the phone, all he could say was "wow." That's the reaction of someone who actually knows what he's looking at and takes his craft seriously.My vehicle is now running better than she has in years. Better mileage, no faults, and was confirmed “road trip ready” for a high-importance, 500+ mile round trip with real elevation change where I needed to know she could handle both the conditions and the distance without fail. The results back it up: she performed beautifully, my fuel economy went from a 20.7 MPG average over my last ten fill-ups to 26.6 MPG since the repair (a 29% jump) and I got 450+ miles of range on consecutive fill-ups, which is something I haven’t seen in years.Transmission or not, if you want a shop that actively diagnoses instead of guesses, this is the place to go!

I had a really great experience here, they were informative and respectful. I didn’t feel like they were trying to upsell or look for problems that weren’t there. They got me in very quickly. Then with diagnostics and service it was about 2 hours where I waited in their very comfy waiting room, which is more like a living room. They offered me water and even a ride if I needed to go somewhere.Wi the in two hours my car was totally fixed and I was on my way. 10/10 would recommend.
