We LOVE Sharkey's. My kids always feel like it's a special activity / event going to get their haircuts, as Sharkey's really does make it an experience. For $36 (plus tip) you get a great experience - kids picking their car to sit in, picking the show they want to watch and even picking their shampoo flavor (birthday cake always wins out with my kids). They get a coin to donate part of the proceeds from their cut to a certain cause and leave with a balloon in one hand and lollipop in the other. Sharkey's employees are also always really good with siblings and often proactively offer balloons and lollipops to others in tow. Yes, you can find a cheaper place for kids cuts, but this makes it a genuinely enjoyable experience for all and they are very efficient.

So friendly! My son had his 2nd haircut ever and the staff were so kind and patient with him. They found different ways to entertain him and keep him distracted and calm. We will definitely be back!

Liz was super good at talking with our kid, and following advice/comments from me, my partner, and our 6-Year old - He can be a little standoffish sometimes especially when it comes to haircuts. But he opened up, had fun, sat relatively still, and E’s patient all the way through the 20-minute cut! They made it fun, quick, and it was a great quality haircut. It’s worth it for the experience!

Frederick cut both my grandkids hair and it was a great experience. He is very skilled at what he does. We brought pictures and ideas and he delivered. He was very patient with the two boys and they were very excited with the results.

Angela and Chloe at the Minnetonka location were phenomenal for my sensory seeking bouncing kiddos! Nearly Irish twins years 3&4 years old, and the Sharkey’s stylists were warm, friendly, and so patient for them. I will absolutely be coming back here for every future hair cut for my family!
