I did the 4 week Fit Dad program and it was amazing. Not only did I learn allot from the program it really helped me with my mobility. Stephen knows exactly what to do and I’d say he’s especially really good at the mobility portion of the program. I recommend him to anyone who wants to get back into shape. You won’t regret it.

I participated in the 4 Week FitDad Kickstarter Online Coaching Program with Stephen and found it very beneficial in getting me moving. I am a dad with young kids with a desk job and I was not moving my body enough. Stephen laid out a very easy to follow program that eased my body back into regular activity. I learned new ways to stretch which felt really good, and I had no worries about hurting myself in the process. I am now more flexible, I move with more ease and I am on the right path to maintain new good habits for myself so I can be there for my kids. I started the program because I was worried I would not be able to teach my kids and enjoy the physical activities I enjoyed when I was younger. Now I am look forward to skiing, hiking, and doing water sports with them while they grow up.

I was fortunate to recently participate in the 4-Week FitDad Kickstarter Online Coaching Program and want to thank Stephen for his approach that stresses mobility/flexibility and habits along with exercise.
As we age (I'm currently 46), it's surprising to learn that seemingly simple movements may be difficult or impossible to accomplish, and some stretches in this program should me exactly that. Luckily, with just a small amount of time, Stephen helped me improve issues that had been bothering me in my left shoulder/arm for many months. I look forward to working with him further in future.
The course itself is well put together, and Stephen was extremely open to feedback and updated the course as it progressed. He was also quite responsive to questions, regularly checked in on progress, and there to provide a nudge when needed. I would assume all these great characteristics would carry over to his personal training offerings as well!

I went through the FitDad Kickstarter program with Stephen and got to say it’s exactly as advertised. If you are looking for a good way to get back into fitness or even start getting into fitness for the first time his easy approach to training is great. The videos and program are easy to follow with lots of options to adapt to your ability. The best part is that you can tell that Stephen is invested in your results and really cares about you achieving what you set out to achieve. From the additions to the program that caters to the group or the weekly checkups it’s clear that Stephen is following along to help out and share his vast knowledge in fitness. I will definitely take what I have learned from him and use it moving forward.

His workouts have enabled me to not only achieve my fitness goals but also push me past what I thought I was capable of. His workouts are tailored to my goals and offer me a broad range so that the exercises never get stale. He also pushes me to a lot of balance-based exercises that I would never have done myself.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steve for over 13 years. While I have had other trainers, none have been as knowledgeable about the human body or as meticulous in making sure that we perform tasks correctly.
Over the years he has played a critical role in helping me recover from knee issues, a pinched nerve in my back and other more general problems.
As we get older we often experience a variety of maladies with our musculoskeletal systems. Steve is adept at targeting the problem area and alleviating our issues.
Whether you are an athlete or not Steve is an excellent, knowledgeable trainer.

I wholeheartedly recommend Steve’s online training plan to anyone looking to revitalize their health and fitness. While many programs exist, none compare to Steve’s personalized, compassionate, and results-driven approach. His training is truly in a class of its own, and he is an elite trainer.
I’ve had the privilege of training with Steve for nearly 10 years, and his expertise, commitment, and passion for his clients have never wavered. What sets Steve apart isn’t just his deep knowledge of fitness, but his sincerity and dedication to helping clients achieve their goals. He’s invested in every aspect of your journey—physically and mentally.
My journey with Steve began while preparing for the Canadian Armed Forces Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ). At the time, I was dealing with injuries that severely impacted my movement. Medical professionals suggested surgery, but I turned to Steve for help. His careful, thoughtful approach helped me work with my body’s limitations, avoiding surgery and focusing on rehabilitation and functional strength. Not only did I meet my military fitness goals, but I also passed assessments for multiple Canadian law enforcement agencies.

I started training with Steve 19 years ago. I'm a dad and in my case, a granddad as well. I was very active as a kid, but eased off particularly through my 30s and 40s for career-related reasons. I thought I'd change my behaviour and engage in regular exercise when life eventually slowed down -- in my 50s, maybe? -- but instead, life sped up, as did signs of aging, particularly energy loss. I decided I needed to invest in my own health and started training regularly with Steve. Now, I'm almost 70, and I'm still a client, reaping the benefits of a training program focussed in my case on mobility, strength and maintenance -- in other words, having the confidence to be able to do the things I want to do, especially outdoor activities like cutting wood and landscaping. I can say without reservation that I always feel better and more energized after a work-out with Steve. He's positive, encouraging, realistic and educational. He explains the benefits of every part of my training program in ways that I can understand. Because I enjoy training this way and see the benefits of it, I stay committed. I attribute my longevity to Steve's training.
