Hey, I'm Ryan Williams and I run Assistabyte, and we build websites that automate the marketing for home service contractors, and that's roofers, plumbers, HVAC, electricians. Basically, we make sure that every lead turns into a text on your phone instead of a lead you lost. And when I walked into Charlotte Entrepreneurs, I had none of that off the ground.I was pre-revenue, no clients not even really a clear offer, and I spent years building stuff for other people, but I hadn't sold a dollar under my own name. So in about two months, that changed. I collected a little over forty-five hundred from people in the community, and that's websites, missed call texts back, chatbots, automations, that sort of thing. And some of that's recurring every month, which is the part that actually compounds. And so here's what I tell someone who's on the fence. The monthly events are great. That's not the thing. It's the mastermind. It's the Tuesday coaching calls, it's the Friday coffees, it's the random one-off call with someone that's gonna tell you the thing you didn't wanna hear. And the small groups are awesome. The fact that we meet every week or every other week, depending on the frequency there. But just being able to meet with your people, them holding you accountable, and even knowing what's going on with your business, it's huge. And honestly, the stuff that has nothing to do with business is the stuff I love. It's when we went to play paintball, and I hadn't played paintball in twenty years. I had an absolute blast. And when you're out there laughing hysterically with people that you generally love to be around something shifts, right? And you're not contacts anymore. They're your people. So that's why the work came.Nobody hired me off a business card. They hired me because they knew me. And if you're building something and you're doing it by yourself right now, you don't have to. This is where you stop doing that.
