DMHS just finished replacing the belly insulation, vapor barrier and supports in our Yucca, AZ manufactured home. When we first discovered a packrat midden in the underbelly, I don't think "horrified" covers it. Insulation hanging down, everything infested, rat droppings all through the crawl space. My husband Jeff actually tried to take it on himself before we admitted it was beyond a DIY job. Then came the second wave of dread: Yucca is remote enough that we weren't sure anyone would even return our call.Desert Mobile Home Services did, and quickly. Mike and the office staff made scheduling refreshingly easy, and they were out and finished within a couple of weeks — in August/September heat that's no small feat.The work was thorough and top-notch. Miguel and his crew tore out every bit of the infested material and hauled it away, droppings and all, covered each pipe entrance with wire mesh, and replaced the insulation and vapor barrier. They sent us photos throughout, so we could follow along from out of town, and Miguel walked us through the finished work top to bottom after they were done.We were dreading this project and DMHS made it easy. I wouldn't hesitate at all to use them again.
