Clean-up doctors! Clean-up EMTs! Clean-up first responders? Clean-up rescuers?TL; dr: I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. I am making special time for this review. My apartment was cluttered & I was not afforded opportunity to clean up before our landlords scheduled non-urgent major construction on my home w/ less than a week's notice (a week my schedule was packed and there was no time to prep). The construction happened over TWO days, opening up two walls to a very windy and open landscape on days with 70% forecasted chance of rain (and rain it did) w/ NO precautions to protect our belongings! My entire apartment & all belongings in different rooms, cabinets & drawers were COVERED in construction debris. Thousands of large & small items, books, plants, rugs, toys, legos (have you ever tried removing construction dust from legos?!), plants, furniture, electronics, you name it. I was absolutely beside myself. This follows my apartment having been burglarized on the first day of construction when the workers/property management left my front door wide open and apartment unattended. I'd been through hell already before I found our apartment & belongings thoroughly saturated in toxic construction material.THEN the landlord wanted to send in their "regular" housecleaners(!!!) to clean it up and were talking about using water (NO!) to clean my couch & talking about NOT touching/cleaning any of the items or toys that had been affected. Fortunately that morning I spoke to a doctor who had recently encountered a similar issue, who advised under no uncertain terms to NOT go that route & to find specialists in this specific clean-up.In a panic, totally overwhelmed I found TuClean on Google & spoke to Abraham. He demonstrated thorough knowledge of this problem, was totally un-intimidated by the scope and detail, & pro-actively demonstrated an understanding of exactly what I was going through. This reassurance alone of having someone demonstrating competence & confidence in being able to remedy the situation is priceless when you're freaking out in such an overwhelming situation. After dealing with nothing but massive incompetence for the past several days by EVERYONE who had been stepping foot in our apartment & now a climbing feeling of doom and threat to our health and safety (especially since I have asthma!) Abraham's realness was a huge relief. AND he was able to schedule my home for the next day, understanding fully the urgency.I sent him pictures of the mess & was shocked that the quote was not way more. My landlord dragged her feet & would not respond to put a deposit on the BEYOND REASONABLE quote until the morning of (after I yelled at her that I would see her in court!) & he got his team on it a couple hours later. They spent several hours here AND he dealt with with my wickedly sleazy awful landlord. When I was super apologetic that he had to deal with her, he reassured me he'd dealt with worse. So they came, ran an industrial hepa-filtered air purifier that they explained replaced the air like dialysis five times an hour. Microfiber dusters, hepa-filtered vacuums. Everything specialized to remove these microscopic COPD and respiratory illness-causing materials to keep them from going airborne and resettling in lungs and skin and surfaces. When finished, he advised of how to continue caring for this wound (continue removing whatever might be remaining unseen) & to call if needed. Ia sense of relief in much the same way as you feel after a doctor has fixed you up after a medical emergency. They advise you how to take care of the recovery, and to call them if anything goes wrong. You walk away thankful someone knows how to fix this stuff. Like a rescue or something. Wait THAT's the feeling! A sense of rescue! It's been a couple hours since they left and things look so far so good. They.got.the.details. I feel like we have some peace of mind again, some semblance of safety in our own home, and like I might actually get some sleep tonight.Thank you Abraham and TuClean
