I was introduced to Jeremy's coaching after regularly attending his group fitness classes in Austin. Jeremy's classes were fun and provided me with a foundation in strength and conditioning where the programming was practical, and I responded well to his coaching concepts and movement cues. I wanted to elevate my commitment to strength training, and the classes alone weren't enough to help me level up. So I started a 6-week training and nutrition program with Jeremy structured around my goals supported by data-driven measurement. We tracked everything, including my nutrition, reps, and rest which effectively changed my training into deliberate practice. Various charts and graphs of my data (provided by Jeremy) proved the underlying trends of my hard work while my body physically molded the result. Jeremy made the program simple. Show up on time, put in your reps, and follow the nutrition guidance. He was an integral accountability partner, which aided me to see through my commitment throughout the 6-weeks. In the end, Jeremy was the right coach to work with personally. Why? Because of his undoubted expertise in functional fitness and data-driven measurement approach, but more importantly, his personal touch to build a relationship as I was attending classes before I became a client. Each exchange with Jeremy leaves me feeling seen, encouraged, and inspired to keep going. He is gentle, strong, highly respectful, and always light-hearted while closely tracking my progress. The one-piece I didn't anticipate and now see it is the ingredient that makes him a great trainer and person, is that he thinks about our work before coming to a session, with a very good sense of my leading-edge and how to support my development.
