Had a lovely recall training session with Chloe. Although we knew the basic idea of recalling, it wasn’t working well. She has given us so many tips and ideas to try, we are very grateful and hopefully on the way to having a well behaved pup. We were very impressed with the lovely people at dog in a box.

I can’t recommend the scent training membership highly enough. Bonnie thoroughly enjoys her weekly class and has gained tonnes of skills and confidence through Chloe’s kind and expert guidance.

At the beginning of this year, I enquired about dog training and decided to take up the offer of some one‑to‑one sessions with Dog in a Box, with the intention of later attending their adolescent training classes for my four‑year‑old dog, Pepe.Pepe had a few behaviours that were causing us stress in social situations, and these were worked on during both the one‑to‑one sessions and the group classes with trainers Pa and Chloe. The whole experience was enjoyable and has helped us feel much more confident moving forward with further training.I would highly recommend this dog‑training service, as it has been genuinely beneficial in helping us positively manage Pepe’s behaviours.

I had a 1-2-1 taster session with Pa for my Jack Russell, Poppet, to work on her recall, and honestly it was such a good experience.I was a bit self-conscious going in because Poppet’s recall is… not great 😅 but Pa was so welcoming and easy to talk to that I felt completely at ease straight away. There was zero judgement, which made such a difference. I didn’t feel embarrassed at all, just supported.She gave really clear, practical advice that actually felt doable, and explained things in a way that just clicked. You can tell she really knows her stuff but also genuinely cares about both the dog and the owner.I came away feeling loads more confident and actually motivated to put the work in, which is exactly what I needed.Would 100% recommend 🐾

Dog-in-a box offers high quality workshops and 121 training. Our reactive dog greatly benefited from the four week adolescent antics course. The course notes provided explained the games we would be using with our dog and gave us useful instructions so we could practice at home.Training is tailored to each individual dog’s requirements and great fun.

We honestly can’t recommend Dog-in-a-Box Training highly enough. Pa has been an incredible support to our family and has helped our 10 month old adolescent sprollie come on in absolute leaps and bounds - the progress he’s made is unbelievable.She really takes the time to understand your dog and tailors her approach, offering practical tools, tips and resources that actually work in day-to-day life. Thanks to Pa, we feel so much more confident and knowledgeable as dog owners.More recently, as we’ve faced some behavioural challenges, she’s gone above and beyond, offering honest advice, ongoing support, and even connecting us with additional specialist help. Pa genuinely cares about the dogs and families she works with, not just the training itself.We’re so grateful for everything she’s done for us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Philippa was absolutely amazing! In just a few lessons, we learned a lot of ways to improve our dogs’ recall and boundaries, and saw a demonstrated improvement in their behaviour and attentiveness. It was also fun for the dogs and for us! Highly recommended.
