We have had a great experience with Lamar and Bark & Bmore's puppy program! Our pup has made so much progress over the course of the program. He's noticeably more confident, much less reactive, and is walking so much better on a leash. The classes were practical, engaging, and gave us the tools to continue reinforcing good habits at home.Lamar is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping both dogs and their owners succeed. I also appreciate that he takes the time to explain the "why" behind the training techniques, which made it much easier to stay consistent between classes.We're excited to continue working with Lamar as our puppy grows and would highly recommend Bark & Bmore to anyone looking for a positive, effective dog trainer!

Within the first couple of training sessions, we already noticed a change in my dog’s behavior! Lamar is patient my dog but also me. He sends videos to help after new trainings so that I can continue practicing at home with refreshers on things we talked about. This program has been such a blessing. Nothing but positive things to say!

After just 4 sessions with Lamar, my dog Blue is already showing some real-world results. Since starting, we've had successful visits to the sitter's house, and calm, well-behaved public outings to new places. Lamar is incredibly knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is his ability to meet both you and your dog where you are — he tailors the work to your specific situation and moves at a pace that best fits your dog. I went in with specific goals and a loud dog who lacks impulse control and Lamar listened to us both 😂. The progress has been consistent and noticeable, which says a lot at this stage in the training program. I would absolutely recommend Lamar to any dog owner looking for practical, effective, personalized training.

Lamar is truly a great trainer! He definitely understands what the owner wants and what the dog is truly capable of. I was receiving in person training but i recently moved and Lamar is still able to provide all of the information and advice ive needed help with. My Milo (a yorkie) definitely puts up a fight but with the help im getting it makes it seem less of a challenge! If you are in need Lamar is the guy to call!!!

Lamar worked with our school, in Baltimore County. He presented at our Academic Night, to help launch our One School One Book. Lamar wad professional, came prepared with different options of presentations. Lamar brought his pup Mando, and his fellow trainer, Ashley, who also brought her pup Willow. Lamar taught our student about reading a dog’s emotions, teaching them about the importance of words to a dog, and engaged our students in a hands on opportunity to practice with the dogs! Lamar and Ashley stayed to take pictures and answer questions. Lamar even looked into our book to support the importance of why we chose dogs; our book was about a girl and her dog, from the dog’s perspective. If you’re looking for someone to talk to children about training, I highly recommend Lamar!

Lamar does a phenomenal job every session and always gives us clear strategies to practice at home. My biggest concern was bringing a reactive Pit Bull into a home with two cats, but through training and consistent homework we now have a household that can coexist. The trust between all three is growing every day. Bark and BMore teaches both owners and dogs how to navigate the world with confidence.

I can’t say enough good things about Lamar! He’s so dedicated, patient, and really understands dog behavior. You can tell he truly loves what he does. My dog, Pita a Chihuahua/Pomeranian, and I have had a few sessions with Lamar now and things are going great! I've realized how smart she is and how much better her listening skills can become with the training and practice Lamar has taught us. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and flexible.
