Stopped by to get a price on the classes and while I was there I got to meet a young man named Jonathan. When I walked in he was coaching a young man and his mother and I was genuinely impressed with the way he worked to build confidence in the child, especially since the child had decided to stay after the main class had left. Martial arts was and still is a huge part of my life and seeing young men put care into the development of the next generation really warms my heart.

My neurodivergent kiddo has been taking classes now for 8 months and we have seen big improvements in focus, direction following and coordination. I have seen his confidence grow as he earns his belt stripes as well. He’s definitely had his ups and downs with emotional dysregulation and we appreciate the continued kindness and patience from their wonderful instructors Mr. Fornaris and Master Myers along with the sweetest group of understanding kids in his class. He’s always asking to go to Taekwondo and I’ve made some Mom friends in the process. With having a special needs child you always want them to fit in and have the same experiences other kids do and we thank Freedom Martial Arts for providing that inclusive experience for us.
