I’ve really appreciated the attention Dr. Principal has taken to my treatment so far, she’s been teaching me a lot! Dr. Principal is like a detective! There will be lots of questions that go deep to understand what is going on and get you the best course of action. The advice has always been spot on--with easy to integrate practices at home without equipment. I highly recommend Dr. Principal's practice to all my friends working through an injury or after an accident.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience working with Dr. Principal. She is knowledgeable, motivating and charming, making the sessions surprisingly enjoyable (despite my occasional whining). She listened and adjusted when exercises were genuinely too difficult for me to execute, but could also assess when I hit a barrier that was more mental than physical, and pushed me accordingly. I hope to never need physical therapy again but if I do, her practice will be my first call. Can’t recommend it enough.

I really enjoyed my time working with Dr. Principal. From the very beginning, she truly listened to what I had to say and took the time to design a plan specifically for me. She was engaging, funny, and incredibly easy to talk to, which made every session enjoyable. Dr. Principal is an absolute joy and delight to work with. I had a bilateral mastectomy about six months ago and have been dealing with upper back and chest pain/tightness from being in protective mode since. I feel beyond grateful to be working with her as she has experience working with women that have undergone breast cancer journeys similar to my own. She is compassionate, encouraging, and always takes time to make sure the exercises and movements are helping my body and not hurting it. I also very much appreciate the amount of 1:1 work that we do together. Having gone through PT before, it's so refreshing to be able to do the work with your therapist as opposed to being "on the floor" with a different assistant each time. I cannot recommend working with Dr. Principal enough!

I've been going to Principal Physical Therapy for a little over a month now and my results have been fantastic! I had some major hip and lower back pain that has since disappeared. I've been to other PT places that put you in an assembly line of exercises based off of your diagnosis and it never worked for me. What's great about Dr. Principal is that she listens and then offers guidance and advice based on you as a whole person and not just a specific injury.

I met Dr. Principal when she rushed to the scene of a neighbor who had tripped and fallen on the sidewalk. She made her comfortable and waited until the ambulance came. A year later I was experiencing lower back and leg pain. I immediately thought of Dr. Principal. Walked past them in Park Slope and noted them knowing I was going to be searching for a new PT. When I was finally ready, they were quick to communicate and schedule, worked with my insurance, and had a great bedside manor (if that's what you can call it in the Physical Therapy space), and they clearly know their stuff, I finally feel like I'm able to get to the bottom of my issues with their help.
