THANKS CLAIR - I HAVE MY CONFIDENCE BACKProfile: 34, mixed race, very low crown, hereditary baldnessPeople were always telling me "it doesn't even look that bad" but there was a voice in the back of my head that was self-conscious about my hair/balding and one day I decided to make one last effort to do something about it; fortunately, I heard about about Clair at Lux SMP Stevenage!I took a (potential) risk in not shopping around and essentially put all my eggs in Clair's proverbial basket but on this occasion I completely lucked out and glad I didn't go anywhere else.Clair gave me a really frank, honest and professional pitch when I first called her and I was instantly filled with confidence and trust that she was the artist I wanted to go with.My case was pretty severe and she said right from the start that I would need 4 sessions (pay for 3 and the 4th would be a free touch up) so I knew exactly how much it would cost from the get-go.During the first session, we worked together on the hairline and she nailed it first time - it was perfect, I had no reason to suggest alterations. Off to a fantastic start.During the next 2 big sessions, the look and density built up really nicely. There were a few weeks between sessions so that it could heal, calm down and I could also get used to the changes going on.My last session was to either correct some patches or add a little here and there but because of how well Clair had done in previous sessions, I was in and out in about 30 mins!Every session, Clair worked fast but I never felt she was rushing. I won't lie, at times it really hurt but, come on, you're being tattooed on your head, man! But the conversation flowed and she would always give me updates on what she was doing and when she planned a break.Job done, confidence back, couldn't be happier about my new look :)So my last words (apologise for the lengthy review but hopefully it is useful if you're reading this for some positive case studies and advice) are these:1) TRUST THE PROCESS. With having no knowledge of the SMP process (only YouTube videos) I decided to give Luxe SMP (Stevenage) a call after seeing some good reviews, Clair was really easy to talk to. Her knowledge of SMP was brilliant and she answered every question I had. Clair’s calm, professional approach along with her extensive knowledge of how natural hairlines should look gave me the confidence to have the treatment with her and I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I was first made aware of SMP about 5 years ago, but thought nothing of it. Recently however, I delved further into it and made contact with Clair. Following an initial consultation where Clair walked me through the process, I decided to take the plunge and I’m so pleased I did.I’ve had three sessions and the quality of her work is outstanding.
