After approaching BFIt several times before buying a 6 week course for beginners, I have just received an email to say I have reached 100 sessions as a member. As someone who has never exercised and really hated the thought of it, I couldn't have chosen a better place than BFit to start my 50s fitness. The friendly expertise, support and guidance from trainers and fellow members makes it (almost) painless! I am building strength, flexibility, increasing all range of movements and improving my balance. My aging body has protested at times to the sudden uptake of regular exercise, but by continuing to be consistent and following advice from the trainers I've kept going and learnt how to exercise safely, supporting my joints and muscles.Here's to the next 100! B Fit gym is an excellent gym.The manager Mike and the coaches, Dale & Rio are supportive in every way.The gym has provided me with confidence and taught me not to be afraid of exercise. The community of members surround you with support, it is such a great place and at the same time you're getting stronger and fitter.A few illnesses have set me back, however Beth is always on hand checking in and if you have any questions she is lovely and extremely helpful .I would advise anyone if your thinking about joining a gym come here, you won’t look back.

Going training/ to a gym is something that filled me with fear and exercise was definitely not on my agenda. Having already lost a huge amount of weight I wanted to start becoming fitter, stronger, healthier and to continue the weight loss journey. I followed BFit on social media since January 2025 and liked the ethos and their style of training and finally plucked up the courage to take myself way out of my comfort zone in May. I have recently completed my 6 week trial and I'm as shocked as all of my friends & family are when I say I've actually enjoyed it and have now taken out a full membership.All of the trainers are great, supportive and encouraging and in just 6 weeks I'm really pleased with how far I've come and my confidence is getting better with each session I attend. I also like the booking app which allows me to book and change slots around my job.I just wish there was a second fitness studio on the west side of the city to save me travel time.If you're still undecided about joining I can't reiterate enough, just go for it, start a trial and see how you get on

Bfit is an excellent gym. I have been there for over 2 years. My goals were to increase my fitness and be able to climb hills more easily. The coaching staff are all super supportive and welcoming. Training sessions are always varied and never dull! I have increased my fitness massively and now climb hills with ease. I feel fitter and healthier. I would encourage anyone to join the gym. It is a good place to be!

B Fit Personal Training Cardiff is an excellent gym especially for the over 40s. I feel as if I haven’t just joined a gym but also a supportive community. The training team are very active in helping you achieve your goals in a safe, progressive manner. I can’t recommend this gym highly enough. Even if you’ve never been to a gym before you’ll quickly feel part of a special place.

I have struggled with weight issues most of my adult life and always hated gyms. So to find a gym that I not only like, but has crept in to my everyday life has been a total surprise. It turns out that there are different type of gyms and B Fit PT is one of the good ones. There is no endless walking on treadmills, cross trainers or the like, their programme relies on the coaches to plan individually designed workouts for you and more importantly they are with you through out the sessions. I feel totally supported and they adapt the exercises to fit my physical limitations. It's still a work in progress but I am feeling fitter and am managing to do so much more than I could this time last year.

These guys are great! I’ve been with them since August 2024 and they have been brilliant with me. I joined the small group PT which has been perfect for me. It’s all been about core strength and lifting weights and it’s been great seeing how I’ve progressed. I’ve gone from literally no fitness, being out of breath when walking up a flight of stairs, to some great core strength, a general feeling of wellbeing (stairs no longer a problem!) and the added bonus of more control over my pelvic floor!! It’s all thanks to the folks at BFit!! No question is too silly for them and they really encourage you to do it all at your own pace so I never felt like I was being left behind or being compared to the skinny minnies as I did when I attended classes at other gyms. This place is perfect for the over 40’s (I’m 51!) wanting to increase fitness and strength for longevity. Thanks BFit!!

I have just finished 21 day introductory course with Bfit, what can I say. Amazing support, a dedicated program has been put together just for me. I havent exercised or trained since my 20s...30 years ago ....due to work and life getting in way. That meant I became unfit snd overweight, especially since lockdown and home working.I joined BFit early December 2021 attending 3 small group PT classes (lift and burn) per week. I submitted food diaries and took on board feedback about nutrition and, especially, in amount of water I ought to drink daily. The classes are only 3/4 hour each so it fits in around work and other commitments really easily.2 months later I lost a stone in weight started to tone up and dropped a dress size. Now after two years, I still feel so much more energised and no question that my mental health has improved.I feel so much better about myself. I know I have a way to go to meet my own goals but I am playing the long game toensure this remains a permanent change in my life.The classes are challenging at first because everything is new, but the trainers guide and motivate you, as do fellow attendees...we are all there for similar reasons. I am no gym bunny but I want to go to train, I enjoy it. I can train in a non judgemental environment with trainers who care and help you improve week by week class by class. Given the impact of BFit on my life in the last 2 years am keen to see what a difference it will make over the longer term ....I will certainly be stronger slimmer and fitter !!!!!

As a person of a certain age, going to a gym can be quite intimidating. But at B Fit everyone is welcome, it's a community. The coaches are excellent, they get to know each and everyone of us quite quickly. They know your strengths and weaknesses, and help to push you to strive for better. The classes are diverse and energetic. And the clients are like a family, everyone looks out for each other. What I like best are the small group PT sessions, sometimes it can be a 1- to 1. The big group sessions are fun, and regularly the coaches join in, which is great to see If your thinking about joining, go for a visit and consultation with the friendly staff. You won't regret it. I certainly didn't regret joining. I love it. Paul

Attending BFit has become a very important part of my life. Finding I enjoy the gym at last is a result of the unique combination of coaching, encouragement and friendship.The challenges set are agreed together and as a result I am fitter, stronger and my shape has changed for the better.I can’t imagine going back to my old sedentary lifestyle - I would miss BFit so muchThanks to the whole BFit community and particularly the coaching team.
