I absolutely love my lip blushing that I received from Amanda. The building is beautiful and has great lighting. Amanda also ensured that I was comfortable throughout the service. Swelling went down within a few days and now I have natural, stunning pink lips!!

Long review but important considering this is a permanent tattoo on your face.I had a lip blushing procedure here in [Richmond, Va], and unfortunately my end result was not as positive as others. At no point during the consultation or procedure did we discuss or agree to overlining (tattooing beyond my vermilion border). However, my lips were tattooed outside their natural shape, creating a permanent change that cannot be corrected by the “healing process”. We discussed multiple times “my lips but better.”. I understand artists can use certain techniques and shade in ways to enhance natural lip shape, unfortunately that’s not what happened here and a touch up wouldn’t correct this.When I raised my concerns, I was told by Amanda (my artist) that this was normal healing and to wait until the touch-up. Placement outside the vermilion border is not a healing issue, pigment in skin outside the lip line does not move inward over time.To be certain I wasn’t mistaken, I consulted with two other experienced permanent makeup artists who examined my lips in person. Both confirmed this was a placement error and advised me not to proceed with the touch-up as it would be even harder to correct after round two. They both also confirmed that this was not normal at any stage during healing. Both artists said a saline removal or complete cover-up/correction is needed to fix this error in placement.This review is not about preference, it is about informed consent, precision, and accountability. I am sharing my experience so future clients can make fully informed decisions. I take no pleasure in writing negative reviews.I understand Amanda may feel differently, but my review reflects verifiable facts from my experience and professional consultations with experienced artists.One additional note for potential clients: Amanda had her dog present during my appointment, including taking breaks for the dog during my procedure. I personally didn’t mind at all and enjoyed her furbaby, but those with allergies or concerns about animals in a procedure space should be aware. Also, my appointment lasted nearly seven hours, I arrived at 4 p.m. and didn’t leave until almost midnight. Mapping takes a while but most of this was tattooing time. Lip blushing is typically a 90-minute service in its entirety, so the extended time is unusual and worth noting.I will update with pics of my process later if Google allows.

Amanda was great! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my eyebrows, and she created the perfect look for me. She was meticulous with her work, explained everything well, and had great music playing also. Super great experience!

Amanda is awesome! She took her time and we even came up with our own lip color together and oh my goodness! I’m super pleased with the way my lips turned out and can’t wait to get my eyebrows touched up next week! I highly recommend a little self care and let Amanda handle the rest!
