This is my second time getting my hair braided by JJ African Braiding. I must post an honest review about my hair. Your customer service is wonderful however you are a professional and you know that my hair is not done the right way.I’m not trying to hurt your business but I’m will to tell the truth.A proper response after someone has paid their money is not to continue to offer to re curl it. You all braided my hair on 9/6/2026. And not even a week later my curls look like I have had them for over 2 months. This would be my 4th time having to come back. The first time you all braided my hair I had to return and it was fixed with no issues. This time I returned and my hair looks like it’s 2 months old because of the mistake of cutting the hair too short and then having to fed hair in order to fix the mistake. I showed you that that did not work but you continue to ask me to re curl it. Why not offer to re braid the back and fix it with once and for all. Once I leave a braid shop I do not expect to keep returning for the same issue. She stated that when I leave the shop I deserve to be happy and she is right.

Just left the braiding shop with my daughter. She got a knotless bob. The service was great, and the ladies were very nice and accommodating. They kept checking in with my daughter to see how she was doing. I will be back; this was a first-time visit. We will be back. Also, the shop was very clean.

ATTENTION:This shop SWITCHED THE “HUMAN HAIR” I BOUGHT FOR SOME FAKE KANEKALON HAIR.REFUSED TO ADMIT IT AND KEPT MY MONEY WHEN I CONFRONTED THEM ON THE ISSUE. Rude and unprofessional treatment.Poor installation of overall style was damaging to my own hair and had to remove all of from my head in fear of breakage. In addition the product I took with me is not what was used!=================================TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL; this BUSINESS HAS BEEN REPORTED:🚫ComplaintTCP-053906Selected Issue Types:Failure to Deliver Goods/ServicesFailure to Provide RefundUnsatisfactory Service/Workmanship==============================

I forgot to write a review, when my braider relocated I was looking for a place closer. I went to another place and was not satisfied at all with the quality of work. Then this place was recommended and I can say they have me a customer now. The quality of work is beyond and above. The professional and friendly service from Fatu was exactly what I was looking for! I will most definitely go back over and over again and again. I hope I spelled her name correctly ❤️

Do not go to this shop. The owner is very rude person and will not attempt to listen to any concern. As a business owner myself, that is not the way to treat the customers; I am a witness to the product applied ---very dissatisfied with service and attitude.

BEWARE: THEY STOLE MY HUMAN HAIR AND REPLACED WITH FAKE HAIR. I TRIED TO SHOW THE OWNER BUT SHE STUCK WITH THE LIE THAT HER NEICE WAS INNOCENT…I WAS STANDING THERE WITH PIECES IN MY HAND AND HEAD. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THE STYLE WAS LOOKING GOOD— I EVEN COMPLIMENTED THEM, THINKING IT WAS ALL ALRIGHT. THEN BY DAY 3 it started to go flat and limp…I REMOVED ONE TO DISCOVER I HAD BEEN THE VICTIM OF THEFT. The hair was mixed with kanekalon synthetic hair.OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS I RETURNED BUT WAS STILL TREATED LIKE IT WAS NOT TRUE. I LOST MY MONEY BUT HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS SOMEONE ELSE.
