Such a great learning experience! It’s 12 weeks which goes by so fast and that’s so nice. All in all they’re great when it comes to teaching and being available to any tutoring or questions you may have about the material. They’re polite, respectful and so thoughtful! The only hiccup I feel as if the school had was that we got a new instructor a little more than halfway through and we weren’t ever informed why or that we were even getting a new instructor until weeks later. I just felt like we pay a large amount of money to be here so deserve open communication about our education. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!!!

Ms. Terrica was amazing, I literally love her. I never left class lost or confused and she always made sure we felt confident. She made class such a great experience and environment. I have never had an instructor this good in high school or college. The program itself was super informative, flexible, and convenient, and the externship is how I landed my job. It was not stressful at all, nothing like college overload, thank God. The scrubs were a 10/10, as well as everything else. So definitely join the program and set yourself up for success because they got you covered!!

I absolutely loved my experience at D.A. Academy! Before starting here, I always struggled in school, but the way Ms. Terica teaches makes such a huge difference. She explains everything so well and truly cares about her students’ success. The pace of the program and the textbooks are set up in a way that helped me stay on track and actually enjoy learning. I’ve done so much better in school than I ever thought I could, and I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. Las profesoras explican bien y son pacientes. Nos animan y nos hacen sentir confiadas. “Gracias Claudia y Emily “por su apoyo y enseñanza . El curso es corto pero abarca gran cantidad de contenido y no es difícil de aprender. Salimos bien preparadas , listas para comenzar a trabajar y seguir aprendiendo. DAANC is a great program with even better instructors and owner. My session went by so fast due to having great classmates. We built a strong relationship while learning so much in our 12 week session. The different options of days, times and sessions provides the flexibility for a work-school balance. The course is very detailed and you complete the session with an abundance of knowledge to prepare you to begin your dental career, efficiently.

The course is a great stepping stone into the dental field whether you want to remain a dental assistant, go onto dental hygiene or become a dental practitioner. It is structured for any person to succeed whatever your previous educational or professional background. One vital part of the course is the externship in a dental office. The hands on experience and observation of dental procedures and practices I was exposed to as an extern really helped with what I was learning in the course translate into the real world. One suggestion I would have is being able to take x-rays on each other as students rather than just relying solely on Dexter. A model will never fully allow you to see, correct, and perfect your method as would an actual person. Also, some of the coursework needs to be updated and should align with current practices and recommendations of the ADA. Overall, great experience with knowledgeable and professional instructors.
