When our son was diagnosed with rapidly progressing myopia, we realized our previous optometrist simply wasn't equipped to provide the level of care he needed. After seeing Auburn Optical recommended on Facebook, we decided to give them a call, and they have exceeded our expectations every step of the way.They got Roman in quickly for a comprehensive evaluation, and from the very first appointment we knew we were in good hands. Every test and every result was explained thoroughly, not only to me, but also to Roman in a way he could understand. We never felt rushed, and every question we had was answered with patience and care.Dr. Martin took the time to walk us through each myopia management option, explaining the benefits and considerations of each one before helping us decide on the best fit for our son. We chose orthokeratology, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. By the second morning, Roman could see almost perfectly without glasses during the day. More importantly, we are so encouraged knowing these lenses have the potential to significantly slow the progression of his nearsightedness.Every single staff member has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in our son's success. I also have to mention Saxon, the office dog, who made such a difference in helping calm Roman's nerves as he faced wearing contact lenses for the very first time.Dr. Martin is exceptional. His passion for eye care is obvious, and it's clear he truly cares about his patients. Dr. Martin and his staff are all amazing. They are always on time and upbeat throughout the visit. He’s very knowledgeable and explains everything in “layman’s” terms with a great sense of humor. Recently, we needed a last minute unexpected visit and his office squeezed us in very quickly so he could confirm all was well before a trip. Fantastic office!

Auburn optical was wonderful! The front office staff are extremely welcoming and sweet! I have been in now a couple of times and have enjoyed my experience each time. Dr Martin had me in and out in no time! Best experience I have had at any eye doctor appointment!

I would highly recommend Auburn Optical and Dr. Martin. I injured my eye pretty severely on a Sunday afternoon and I went to Urgent Care. They didn't really have the ability to help much at all and they told me to call an optometrist the next day. I have always had great vision so I didn't have an optometrist. I called Auburn Optical at 9:00 a.m. the following day and they had me in the exam room by 9:45 and starting receiving treatment immediately. Dr Martin is very knowledgeable and professional, but also very kind and empathetic. He does a great job of making his patients feel like they are a priority to him. If I ever have vision/eye needs in the future this is certainly where I will come.

We visited Dr. Martin’s office for the first time when my son got a scratch on his eye. We were seen on the same day I called. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care we received. He turned a scary situation for us into a quick fix and my son’s eye is now totally healed. Dr. Martin showed genuine concern and even offered his services during the weekend if we had an emergency while my son’s eye was healing. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Dr. Martin! Dr. Martin and his team are fantastic knowledgeable and care. They are the team that if they can squeeze you in they will if you have an urgent matter. If you have an odd case they just don’t say well that’s all I can do. They go the extra mile to see it thru, they want to know the outcomes and they touch base with other doctors and eye doctors looking at all options. That said my children and I have never had better care. I highly recommend Auburn optical.
