From the moment we met Isaiah, we knew we had chosen the right trainer. Not only was he welcoming & professional, he was immensely patient with our 4 month-old Cane Corso, Frankie. During the Puppy Foundation course, Isaiah helped us understand how dogs think & learn which made continuing training at home sustainable. By the time we returned for Board & Train a few months later, Frankie had a strong framework to continue obedience training. Over her 5 week stay, Isaiah kept lines of communication open, sent updates on her progress, & answered our questions while she was away. His frequent Instagram posts & stories also allowed us to see her progress in real time. We were beyond amazed at her progression week after week. On our first session before she finished her course, we arrived to a more confident, obedient, and nonreactive puppy. She was properly loose leash walking, reponded to recall commands, confidently jumped onto elevated objects, stayed in place, and she was no longer running away from every little sound or movement. We left that session confident in our handling skills and astounded that Frankie had done a complete 360° in just four weeks. We felt the same way after our last session.Isaiah welcomed our stubborn, energy filled Corso with selective hearing into his home and instilled an obedience structure that far exceeded our expectations. We knew we left her in good hands 5 weeks ago, but bringing her home we have realized she was in the BEST hands. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for Isaiah or how phenomenal he is as a trainer, but know that we are and he is. Honestly, we say this and mean it, you and your dog don't need a dog whisperer, you just need Isaiah.

We couldn't be happier with the results from Iris's 4-week board and train with Isaiah! Iris is a very high-energy dog, and despite our best efforts, we just weren't making progress with her training at home. Her pulling on walks had become so bad that I had actually stopped taking her because it was too difficult.Throughout her stay, Isaiah kept us updated with frequent videos and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see her progress every step of the way. It was clear she was receiving excellent care and consistent training.By the time Iris came home, all of the concerns we had discussed with Isaiah had been addressed. The 4 week board and train was the best investment for our 8 month Irish Setter Lucky!The biggest life changers were her loose leash walking, she was wild puller on the leash before and a funny video is recorded on Isaiah’s Instagram for proof! And After his training she is great walking on leash now, It’s a huge game changer having her not pulling anymore. her recall is life changing as well and we have so much more freedom at the park now because she will come when called - running around in fields with no leash felt like something so far out of reach before.She previously had little self control and too much excitement around dogs and people, so having her hold a down with a dog next to her is a huge deal! Since she is a puppy she still gets excited around new people but now i have the tools to work through that thanks to Isaiah’s hard work and teaching me as well. She has shown huge progress from her 4 weeks and it’s much easier to guide her now! the e collar, down and place commands are tools in our belt to stay consistent with training at home as she is still in her adolescent months!Isaiah also is very responsive and has helped us with boarding for out of town trips, we look forward to more training sessions and group classes as we continue to proof Luckys obedience!

We had such a great experience with Next Step Canine and Isaiah. Our Cane Corso, Smoke, completed the five-week program, and the difference has been huge.I’ll be honest—I’ve always been a little nervous around dogs after being attacked when I was younger, so having a large, strong breed was intimidating for me. Before training, I was especially worried about being able to physically control him as he continues to grow.Since bringing Smoke home, he’s been so much easier to handle. He’s still a puppy, but the structure and training have made a big difference. I’m able to take him on our nightly 2.5 mile walks without being pulled, and I finally feel confident handling him on my own.This program didn’t just train our dog—it helped me build trust and confidence too. I cannot say enough incredible things about this dog training experience. I sent my 8-month-old Cane Corso in for a 5-week board and train, and the transformation has honestly been amazing. Before training, my dog was strong-willed, easily distracted, and still very much in that stubborn puppy phase. Now, I have a still energetic puppy but she is more focused, and an obedient companion that I truly enjoy taking anywhere. Isaiah made me feel like my dog and the goals I had for her were important. I was able to ask any questions I had at any point while she was gone.The trainer was extremely knowledgeable and clearly understands the breed, which made a huge difference. Cane Corsos are not easy dogs—they require structure, consistency, and confident handling—and that’s exactly what was provided. Throughout the entire process, I felt informed and confident that my dog was in great hands. I received regular updates, videos, and explanations of what was being worked on, which made me feel included every step of the way.The go-home session was also incredibly helpful. The trainer took the time to teach me how to properly handle and continue reinforcing everything my dog learned, which made the transition smooth and set us up for success.
