We had our backyard outdoor decking done with Clever Craft Carpentry. Mauricio came to access the job and was really helpful and understood exactly what we needed to do. He even gave us some of his ideas which was perfect. His team worked promptly, efficiently and very hard, and finished the job within the timeframes that we were given. When we first met Mauricio, he was very obliging and courteous, and even took the time to drive down on site, to show us come samples of the decking and fence cladding that he worked with.His quote was exceptionally fair and he was considerate and mindful of our budget and expectations. He promptly booked us in once we had confirmed dates for the concrete slab installation and delivery of the Spa and after that it was smooth sailing!In just over three weeks, Mauricio and his dedicated team comprising of Christian, Michael and Octavio, completely transformed our backyard into a spectacular mini resort. We were astonished and amazed at what they had achieved, way beyond our expectations. The family just love it and it has already begun to create wonderful memories for us all!The team started work punctually each day at 7.00am (sometimes earlier!) and were all very skilled, knowledgable and motivated. They were friendly, polite and always upbeat and so was their Latino music, which even had us swaying our hips and shuffling our feet at times! Each day, they left the place clean and tidy and systematically removed the debris and black bags for disposal.We found Mauricio to have strong business ethics and principles, he was trustworthy, dependable and always approachable and maintained a pragmatic approach to solving challenges that came up that required minor alterations and modifications. Most builders would have charged extra for these kind of changes but Mauricio never did and just stayed focused and got the job done.He is highly skilled and creative with his work and his craftsmanship really came through, when he designed a movable bench backing up to the spa, which required an access point for future service and repairs. He also designed and constructed a roof over a sauna which blended in beautifully with the decking and fence cladding, and being a perfectionist, he took his time until he was completely happy with it. He applied the same precision engineering technique to the much admired spa steps he designed, and also to the gates and fence cladding. All top quality workmanship.He and his team are truely professional and extremely hardworking, and also very adaptive with sharp minds constantly tuned in to finding solutions and making sure that the final outcome looked 100% right, and to our satisfaction. They have been a pleasure to work with and have always kept a high level of humility, respect and humour while they have been around.We will certainly use their services again and seek their advice first, on any future building work and maintenance required at home. A most highly recommended firm to work with and a team that will make you very appreciative of their first class work.

They have done our garage door cladding, side timber decks and backyard main deck in a brand new custom built. Best team to deal with. Attention to detail was amazing and the price was reasonable. Strongly recommend them.
