We had an amazing experience at Sharkeys! My son has not loved haircuts and can be very squirmy. Josie was amazing and so kind to my son making him feel comfortable and did an amazing job on his hair! She talked about everything she was going to do and let him see and touch all the tools which he enjoyed.

We had a great experience at Sharkey’s! The kids had so much fun getting their haircuts and playing video games while they waited. The haircut was done professionally, and the detangling service was especially helpful for my daughter’s hair. The fun nail service was a wonderful bonus and made the visit even more special. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

Mrs Nancy at the shoreline location was so sweet she was so patient with my sons first haircut she was so loving and so kind and so awesome towards him! While I distracted him she got straight to business made she he was comfortable and shifting to new ideas to make sure the haircut was completed! She was so patient as well! It was a team effort! I love the idea of the whole business thank you! As well as the front desk ladies was so kind and made effort to distract my son while he was upset getting his haircut I didn’t get her first name but she was so kind! I highly recommend this place for children especially for the first time hair cut they are ready and prepared for every outcome. There is good or bad once again thank you so much Miss Nancy and the front desk lady you’re so awesome.

Kids enjoyed themselves. Parents learned a few things. Outstanding haircuts and helpful tips about hair maintenance (pro-tip to get some chlorine removal shampoo for post-pool). Pricey, but worth it.

We’ve been to nearly all the kids haircut places in area. This has been best place. My haircut averse 7 year old says it was the best haircut of his life. He even let his hair get washed. My kids want to come back, which is usually the opposite I hear after a haircut. Everyone was great.

My son has always been extremely reluctant, honestly terrified, of getting his hair cut, so I was very nervous about bringing him in. We initially went in just wanting to show my son the salon, in hopes to ease his fear for a future haircut. Brandi went above and beyond anything I could have expected. She spent over an hour patiently building trust with him instead of rushing the appointment.She took the time to introduce him to the different chairs/hair salon tools, gently got him comfortable with touching his head, and even let him cut the end of her own hair to show him that getting a haircut doesn't hurt! Her patience, kindness, and creativity completely changed the experience for him.Thanks to Brandi's incredible approach, my son was finally calm enough to let her cut his hair! Josie also was a huge help & finished cutting my son’s hair as Brandi took the time to calm my son with her soft speaking and conversations with him.It was such a huge milestone for our family, and I can't thank Brandi enough. If you have a child who struggles with haircuts or has anxiety, I highly recommend asking for Brandi. She truly has a gift for making kids feel safe and comfortable.
