QRE just finished a job for me. Too soon to know if its done well. According to the testimony of an intermediary, it is. However, on the day he got paid I was informed the bill was 20% higher, due to unforeseen circumstances. Understandably, unforeseen circumstances happen, but you dont go ahead and do this w/o conferring with the client. What if I couldn't cover the 20% increase, or wanted to resist, then what? I have more work that needs to be done. QRE goes from a "shoe-in" to a "maybe, we'll see". This, plus not knowing if it is a good job (time will tell), prompted (2) two stars.

We had roof damage from a lighting strike, which actually made a hole in the roof. We called Bill Boillard, who did a great job replacing our roof many years ago , to see if he could help us. We called Bill to get an inspection on our roof, as we weren't sure if we had wet insulation in attic, and if the roof was leaking or not. He answered right away, and was able to schedule for that same afternoon! Bill and Joey were right on time and very thorough! They shared good news that the roof was fine and the insulation wasn't wet!! Zach Davenport took before and after pictures. He explained everything that was needed and went over all the options that could be done and the prices. He was great to work with and he worked closely with me and the workers construction supervisor Bill. Bill made sure everything was done right. He went and got supplies that the crew needed. They have separate crews for each job(one that just does roofs and one that just does siding and gutters. So everything is done by a specialized crew for that job. They were good. I was very pleased with the workers and the job that was done.
