As a formal peacekeeper martial art student, I’d like to say the sensei helped me so much. I learned so much there. I worked hard and it taught me not to let anybody bring down my Spirit and it brought me to the man I am today. I want to give out a shout out to the instructor James Pierce. He taught me everything I know from white belt to the brown belt. I am now. now, as sad as I am leaving, it’s put a gigantic impact on my life. I wished him the best of luck in finding his students. The karate studio has been a great experience for me. I started back in the beginning of 2022, suggested by my wife as a family experience. I decided to stick with karate as a personal hobby, and as a means of keeping fit/getting exercise. The senseis are great at both demonstrating the techniques and knowledge of movement you need to perform at each level, but also at allowing you the time and shape to figure out some of nuances of high-level moves (this became pretty important once I got pass high-blue belt). Overall, the team at the dojo does a great job of showing beginners of the craft and guiding immediate students on their way to black belt.

Peace Keeper Martial Arts is an excellent place for all ages to learn the discipline and combine it a faith perspective. We have been attending since our daughter was 3 years old, now she’s about to turn 9! Sensei James is very good with kids he really cares about the kids and the discipline. The dojo is more than a learning site, is a place where you can really find support and friendships.

I came to watch my five-year-old cousin during his karate class at Peace Keeper Karate, and I was genuinely impressed. The instructors were amazing with the kids — patient, respectful, and super encouraging. You can tell they care about teaching more than just martial arts; they’re building confidence, focus, and discipline too. The environment felt safe, structured, and very family-friendly. BEST Martial Arts place ever!!! Sensei James is amazing!! My son just joined in November 2024 and has already learned so much!! Not only do the classes teach karate skills, but his self confidence has improved so much! They also have wonderful family events for the kids to get to know each other. Update: 7/21/2025We are still students with PKMA, and our experience is still fantastic! I have seen many students from many walks of life come and enjoy quality martial arts training. Everyone is truly welcome here. It is a wonderful place to enrich your martial arts experience.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I started bringing my boys in as a summer activity, and ended up joining the family class with them. The owner and head instructor are REALLY good with children. This is a wonderful place to learn, and grow as a martial artist!
