Having used body shops during my 50 years of driving , I have seen a thing or 2 .With a recent rear end accident , I had to find a body shop to do the work, after having checked out a few I went to Carrosserie Prisme , having seen the high ratings .Joe looked at my car , in a way no other body shops I visited did .I concluded that other body shops are in a hurry to get the insurance check and paid little attention to the car or client and the clients needs .The body shop itself was unlike anything I had seen , clean in every aspect , no tools and parts all over the place , cars not crammed in as you see in other body shops with hardly any room for the body man to work like in a junk yard .Joe explained in detail what entails with my case .He arranged for a rental car to be at the shop on the day I was bringing the car , the person who brought the rental car waited for me to explain a bit about the rental car , pair my cell phone with the rental car . contract was already prepared as they got my info. from Joe in advance , a big time savings vs. waiting in line at a rental car place . Joe dealt with the insurance company as well.During the time car was there Joe called a couple of time to update me .Car was ready when promised , quality of the repairs, 10 stars !They scanned to make sure that whatever electronics were involved were in order .I can only conclude that Carrosserie Prisme is a cut above the rest . The attention to detail was impressive, and my car looks as good as new.What really stood out was Raffi's generosity and pride in doing things right—he even offered to fix some small paint chips for free that I had tried (unsuccessfully) to repair myself months ago. Whein, très, très grosse amère déception. En 2016 j’avais fais effectuer une première esthétique extérieur de base, compound et cirage. Bon prix et excellent résultat, 5 étoiles sur 5. En 2019 j’avais fais effectué une esthétique extérieur, le classique. Graffignes un peu tout le tour et une réparation majeure du pare-choc arrière et refaire la peinture du capot, bon prix et excellent résultat, 5 étoiles sur 5. Mais, cette année en 2025 j’ai décidé de refaire faire le même exercice. Donc je fais faire une inspection et une estimation incluant délai d’une d’environ 1 semaine de travail et un prix avec un choi de 2 options et non les deux. Et il me confirme le prix par écrit sur leur carte d’affaire. 2 semaines plus tard j’appel pour planifier un rendez-vous dans 2 semaines avec une option choisi (non les deux). Ho mon dieu ! Lors de la remise du véhicule ils refont une autre inspection et plus rien ne tien. Les mêmes travaux sont allégés pour faire passer la pilule, ils n’enlèvent plus la rouille de surface prévu au tour mais peinture dessus sauf le toit qu’ils refont au complet comme prévu, les graffignes vont seulement être peinturés au pinceau, pas question de payer pour ces derniers quand je peux faire la même chose en quelques minutes sur le côté de la rue avec un pinceau comme suggéré c’est insultant et la cerise sur le sundae, un nouveau prix demandé mais non défini majoré d’une possibilité plus de 30% ! En plus ils me sortent une estimation informatisée stipulant un seul travail à effectuer, le toit et tout le reste tout le tour (top shop correctif+compound+cirages… rouille, graffignents et picotements) n’est nullement mentionné nulle part. Autrement dit, couper sur la job et plus cher. Donc, déçu et frustré, je suis revenu à la maison avec mon véhicule et la confiance accordé et mérité en 2019 est rompu. Cette foi-ci 0 étoile sur 5. Mais qu’est-ce qui sait dont passé avec l’honnêteté professionnel du service depuis 2019 ? Les engagements et la parole ne sont plus d’or ? Dire que je louangeais et référais cet endroit, avant. Il s’en est passé de l’eau sous le pont depuis. La Covid et l’inflation changent une entreprise. Conseil, faites faire vos estimations et prix DÉTAILLÉS PAR ÉCRIT avant de prendre une décision et oubliez le mentions écrites à la vas vite sur les cartes d’affaires. Less
