A Trustworthy roofing contractor. Why?I contacted Anthony (now owner of Cohen roofing), who was a just an employee for a roofing contractor that installed roof for me 3 years ago that had some shingles come loose. He told me old contractor was no longer in business and that he now owned his own roofing company. He personally came out and fixed the problem at no cost despite having no obligation to do so.

He showed up and temporarily sealed our roof the day before a severe snowstorm, even before giving us an estimate—and without knowing whether we would hire him. We were still in the process of getting estimates from other contractors, and that level of care and professionalism really stood out. Anthony also matched the estimate of another contractor who offered a good price for the same quality materials and warranty, which we truly appreciated. On the day of the job, the crew arrived early and began working right away. The roof looks amazing, and they were thorough and respectful of our property. Did an inspection for a potential roof leak, response from Anthony was super quick, within 12 hrs inspection was completed. Luckily nothing major but I am more than happy to have met him. Someone I can full trust now, recommend to others for any roofing restoration work.

Anthony and team helped me with roof repairs and skylight replacement. Very flexible to work with, I could buy the window myself, or Anthony could do it for me, no restrictions on window brand and I got support so that I got the right type of flashing suitable for my roof type. The 2 gentlemen working on my house was both skilled and courteous and as a weekend builder I enjoyed learning a few things from the pros. The result was first class, and the cleanup of the building debris was spotless. I am planning more work with this team and will call them for some other work I need an extra hand with

It was a pleasure to have my roof replaced by Cohen Family Roofing! I was really impressed by the level of communication by Anyhony. He came out to my home and did a thorough evaluation of my roof, talked to me about the scope of work, and took time to educate me about types of materials, pros and cons to customize what I wanted. He did all of this without a high pressure sales pitch or condescending attitude. He came across as knowledgeable and honest, wanting to make sure I had all the information to make the best decision for my home. I want to shout out to Anthony's wife, Rena, for her great communication as well and to Juan, who led the work on my roof. The whole experience was great, and I felt like I was a long time friend or part of the family. I plan on using them again in the future!

Anthony was on site during most of the job and his team worked late every night to get the job completed within a couple days. I got a metal roof and it looks amazing for much less than the bigger companies with much more personalized service. I felt informed during the whole process. Many companies send teams out with basically no supervision, this was absolutely not the case here. Highly recommended.

Working with the Cohen team was such a great experience. Truly. I have an old home that had an old roof, and this crew came in for a full-scale job: replaced the decking, replaced one of the rafters that had been shoddily repaired decades ago, and all new shingles, drip edge, etc. It was such a pleasure to work with Anthony and team, and I find so much peace of mind in the quality of their work. Anthony was also very helpful and knowledgeable with having your weather-damaged roof paid for by insurance (minus deductible). Absolutely contact for free inspection and go from there. You have nothing to loose and may get a new roof for a lot less than you thought it would cost.

We are the owners of Arrowhead Inn in North Durham. Part of our Manor House dates back to 1775 so when it was time to replace the roof, we knew we had to be careful about who we chose for the service. The large roof was not an easy task, especially when the original shaker shingles was discovered under the asphalt shingles being replaced. The project turned out to be major reconstruction but Anthony and his team stuck with it and now we have a roof that will last another few decades.
