I read a previous negative review of Keros and the response from Keros told the reviewer that they "...should consider rating a business on... what services are advertised or promised on their website". So I will do just that. The Keros website states.... "kids club are 08:30-12:30...and 7 days per week". The "goal is to combine fun and creativity by engaging in games and activities such as making arts and crafts, puppets and playing outdoor and board games" and to "offer the kids a holiday experience that includes discovery, sports, activities and fun". All done by their "highly trained multilingual staff". We didn't get any of this. We got a yoga teacher with some colouring books and a small tub of Lego. And it wasn't 7 days a week, only 6. And not at the stated times but random times. I know what Keros will say, they will say we choose not to use their services. But there simply wasn't a service to use! Nothing like what they say on their website. And the sad truth is the yoga teacher was out of her depth, she didn't want to take our child, and even when she did she looked for any excuse to take him back to us! And Keros knew this. They knew they didn't have the staff, they knew they couldn't provide what they promote and they were getting complaints. But instead of being upfront about it at the start, for the first 9 days we were given mis-information about the status and whereabouts of the kids club, and false promises about it getting better. At the heart of all this is a little boy on his holiday and Keros did not care. Fair enough, when we asked to leave the camp with a refund for the remaining 5 days, management took notice and promised to improve everything. But by then it was too late for us - the trust was completely broken. We just wanted to leave. Keros refused to let us leave with a refund. They seemed to accept that they broke their side of the contract but insisted that the "no refund" part of the contract is enforced. Those ancient Greek mathematicians and philosophers must be turning in their graves at that logic...
