Archer was fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her as a guide. It was a beautiful day on the river.

Our second time here on the water with Ian. He's the best! Highly recommend this outing it's incredible and Ian makes it extra fun with his conversation, silly jokes and deep knowledge of the area.

My partner and I had such an amazing experience! Our guide was so kind and helpful, and we loved hearing about the area and its history. There was so much to take in, and learning more about what we were seeing made it even more special. The views were absolutely breathtaking! We kept talking about how glad we were that we did this and how much we’d love to do something like it again. We honestly didn’t want to leave! I’m so grateful we got to share this experience together it’s a memory we’ll always cherish.

Gorgeous day on the river. We chose to do the 6 mile round trip to Crow's Nest and I'm glad we did. It was a perfect day for a paddle and quick swim. The water was flat and super calm. Our guide Archer was knowledgeable and wonderful to spend the day with. I absolutely recommend Kayak Lake Mead. I would love to come back and do their 12 mile hot springs trip! I had the most wonderful time with our incredible guide, Archer! From the moment we arrived, she was teaching, coaching, encouraging, and entertaining the group!I loved learning so much along the way. Archer taught us about the region's interesting rocks, plants, and animals, the history of the Colorado River and Hoover Dam, and more. The trip was very informational!The views were absolutely breathtaking-- unlike anything I've experienced or seen before! Archer took lovely photos for us and provided high-quality snacks. I was impressed with Kayak Lake Mead's top-notch equipment (very clean and well cared for), too.Although I have previous experience kayaking, I acquired some new paddling techniques from Archer. Our group included several first-time kayakers, and she coached them with expertise and patience, helping them to make great progress in a relatively short amount of time.I highly recommend padding with Archer!! I'll be back for another Kayak Lake Mead adventure soon.

We had a very personalized trip, very detailed. The kayak equipment was top-notch! Ian also gave us a number of suggestions of other places to visit. This led to us getting the opportunity of seeing some longhorn sheep. We would definitely recommend to anyone interested in this activity.

It was absolutely worth the cost as a family who is not familiar with kayaking. Our guide was wonderful and informative and awesome all around. To know which places to stop at and what it all was made the experience so much more meaningful.

By far this is my family's favorite thing to do when we are in the area. We've taken four tours with Ian and his team and each one has been unique and fun. This summer we took our first overnight excursion and it was excellent. Ian had everything prepared; we just showed up and started paddling. LOL. I can't recommend Kayak Lake Mead enough. They go above and beyond on all excursions whether it's a day trip to see Emerald Cove or an overnight trip to see the majestic cosmos with no light pollution. Ian is also a font of knowledge. Ask him about the nature, the history or even for the best breakfast place in Boulder City and he'll have the answer for you!

Our amazing guide, Ian, made sure everyone was comfortable in their kayaks, He give us a short lesson on the art of kayaking. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the beautiful area with Arizona on one side and Nevada on the other. The gusher’s house, cable cars, cat walks and vegetation were all pointed out or visited along the way. Sunshine in and out that day made it even more special for photos. You won’t be disappointed with this company.They aim to please!

This was my second time booking a trip like this , and it was awesome! Ian was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and vegetation life, lots of stories and good jokes for the water lolThe kayaks that Ian provided are way better than any of the other companies I had seen on the water, very Comfortable.(THEY ARE THE CADILLACS OF KAYAKS)All in all. Emerald Cave Kayak Tour was a main highlight of our 2-year anniversary earlier in July. We had the lovely experience of having Archer as our guide and she was super informative the whole tour especially with animal spotting, which we loved! We felt like we were in good hands as it was our first time kayaking and were initially very nervous. Archer went above and beyond and took photos/videos for us so that we could focus on enjoying the kayak experience which they shared directly with us after the tour.The customer service of the company is also 10/10 as they were very understanding when we had to re-schedule super short notice due to personal circumstances.100% recommend this tour if you're visiting Las Vegas! We hope to one day return and book with them once more in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our guided kayak tour at Willow Beach Marina! Our guide, Archer, was incredible—so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely made the entire experience so enjoyable. We never felt rushed and were able to go at our own pace, which made the tour feel relaxed and personal rather than just following a strict schedule.The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and Archer shared so much interesting information about the area that made the experience even better. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and wanted everyone to have a great time.We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we would absolutely do it again!

Ian was extremely accommodating when I couldn’t get to my scheduled trip he rescheduled me for Sunday morning and it worked out perfectly. Beautiful day with such a peaceful and serene trip.

10/10 recommend! Ian was a great guide! He is very knowledgeable about the area and you can tell that he truly loves what he does. He cares greatly about his clients and their experience. It was too windy for the Whole Dam Tour but we can't wait to come back for that one some day!!

The Emerald Cave provided the signature feature of the tour, but there was also an amazing opportunity to see remnants from the past: a sky-high trolley, strung across the canyon, with rickety walkways, mounted to the canyon walls.Forecast temperatures (100+) were reduced to a comfortable level by river winds during our trip.I enjoyed this tour very much. Money well-spent.

Archer is the best kayaking guide ever! I loved my tour so much that I joined her again for 2 more trips down the Colorado River before my flight home. I learned lots about Arizona, Nevada, the construction of the Hoover Dam, and the unique nature of this region. Archer had interesting animal and plant facts to share, and she made sure everyone in the group had pictures taken to document the memories. I also enjoyed my provided snacks while out on the river! Thank you for making my out-west vacation so memorable🏞️
