Ian and his team were great. We used our own kayaks, but they made us feel very welcome and made the whole process easy and convenient. It took us about eight hours to kayak from the damn to the Marina with a bit of a strong headwind most of the day. We Took a few breaks to get in the water and cool off and we were ready to go again after just a few minutes. We would definitely recommend this trip but know that it is a good physical challenge.

Archer was so wonderful and knowledgeable. She taught us about plants, local wildlife, and took excellent pictures for us. The morning began with still reflective water and as the sun came out the river became a vivid green. This was the highlight of our trip.

Took Kids on a Kayak adventure with Kayak Lake Mead while in Vegas and had a wonderful time. Sam the guide staff member was already waiting for us on arrival, was very informative and educational, and even offered us a midway snack. The scenery was amazing and we even got to see some Mtn Goats. Highly recommend!!

Ian is an outstanding human who loves what he does! We were a group of 6 - including an 83 year old. Ian took us at our own pace with superb equipment. I had my mother in a double kayak (her first time) and having great equipment with a rudder made the 4 mile paddle much easier than it would have been in the regular grade, rudder-less tour stuff we’ve been in on other tours. We had great conditions, and it was a highlight of our trip! We’ll be back to do this one again!

It was beautiful day. Sunny. The Colorado River was like glass. Ian was our guide. We had a great time. Ian was full of information. We learned a lot about the history of that section of the river. Our next trip would be do the full day Hoover Dam & Hot Springs. We recommend this adventure.

I didn’t want to review cause this was such an awesome experience with a private group tour that I didn’t want people rushing to book! So much fun! We’re definitely doing this again! The Kayaks are awesome and guide was experienced. I highly recommend doing this! Price is worth it! I would recommend bringing your own little snack you like for the break time if you’re picky. You can totally bring a small backpack 👍 and strap to kayak!

What an experience! We booked an early kayaking session with Ian and turns out it was just me and my wife so we kinda got a personal tour. The kayaks are top notch and Ian is an amazing guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the local history, flora and fauna. I 100% recommend taking the small group tours with Ian instead of the big commercial tours with the other providers.

Strongly Recommend. My wife and I had a great kayak trip / tour of the river below the dam. Learned a bit of history of the area and river from our guide, Ian. He also knew where the Big Horn Sheep would be and we did see one. Not only was Ian great ... but his kayaks were awesome. We rented a Tandem and glided through the water like a hot knife thru butter. All in all, it was well worth the price of admission. The water itself was shockingly clean and refreshing. What an amazing trip! Me and my partner chose the Twilight Paddle and it did not disappoint. The group was small and private which we prefer, and Ian and his team were great company, providing everything we needed for the trip, including snacks and a campfire on a beautiful ridge overlooking the river. Definitely reccomend for a guaranteed chill activity here! :)
