Good product and competitive pricing for a louvered system, business needs better management. We had them come out for a quote which we ultimately decided to proceed on. We got on the books for a 3 day install. Adam and his crew showed up day 1, but not day 2. It wasn’t until late afternoon of day 2 I called to see if they were still coming, and was told they would be back the following day. Adam came back Wednesday and asked if anyone had let me know they weren’t coming the day before, as he asked them to. Being in the middle of a backyard revamp, it sucked wasting a precious day off waiting around for the crew that was never coming when there was plenty of work to be done. Adam wrapped up the structure and fan install on day 3, (4/22) and let me know the electrician would come to do the wiring. On 4/23 I got the authorization form to charge my card, which I did not sign because the work was not done. After reaching out twice I was told theon the afternoon of 4/27 that the electrician would be out that afternoon. I went home and waited around for hours. Just before 5 and reached back out to see if he was still coming and was told he would be over in an hour. By this point I abruptly ended my afternoon errands to be home and sit around for 4 hours, and was now missing out on dinner plans to stay home and wait more. Electrician came out and got started but needed to come back a week later to finish the job. He was great, just working a full time job and not able to take on these projects until evenings. He came back on 5/4 and finished getting electrical hooked up to the fan.I sent back my authorization form once it was done and shortly after located an additional $750 charge from Valkeywide. I emailed the company on 5/19 and never got a response. I called a few days later and explained the situation. Was told it was someone else’s fan install charged to my account in error. Our fan install was included in our initial quote. I was told it would be addressed. On 5/29 and 6/5 I reached out for the third and fourth time, still without resolution. Finally on 6/15 I told them I was going to dispute the charge and miraculously had a checked dropped off that night to correct the error. We are very happy with the project outcome and Adam’s installation. It’s hard to recommend the company at the time due to the poor communication and management. The three day install ended up spanning 2 weeks. Had I not checked my account I would have been over charged. And the refund, which should have been simple, took nearly a month.
