Leah has done wonders with our wild puppy. She is spot on with understanding our puppy and also training us. Only thing is we don’t get the treats lol. Our Ellie is better all around. We have a few more sessions but each one has been very beneficial. She is very caring and keeps in touch with us between sessions. Answers texts quickly and offers a lot of encouragement. Would recommend her for any dog.

I am happy to write this review of Leah Bernstein, founder of Born to Be Dog Training.Leah is truly remarkable.Three weeks ago I brought home a sweet 5 month old Sheltie. This puppy had no clue about walking, potty training, or coming when called. When I tried to take him for a walk he sat down shaking and refused to move. I found Leah online and she is a miracle worker. From the moment she came in I felt her gentle connection with my puppy. Using positive reinforcement and rewards she encouraged him to let her put on the leash and step outside. By the time our first session was done, he was visibly less anxious.The next day, using the approach and techniques Leah had taught me, I was able to take my pup outside and go for a short walk. Each day he is becoming more confident and more interactive.I attribute a great deal of this to the insights I gained from Leah, and will certainly call her again as needed. I recommend Leah without hesitation to anyone who needs some guidance in training their dog 🐾
