We saw Crystal for my son’s haircut. She was amazing! She was so sweet, so cool with my kid, and she had skills to match. We are so very grateful, and my little guy left feeling super cool. 🙏 When it’s time for a cut again, we will see her for sure! 😀💪

Took my 2.5 year old son in for a haircut. He does not like getting this done and is quite a wiggle worm. India was so patient and did a wonderful job with my son’s haircut! It looks great!

This was our second visit to a sharkeys! We have not been since his first haircut only due to location. I was so excited to see this place in North Charlotte! We got there early and Karen was able to take us already. I informed her that he is autistic and he does not like getting his haircut! Well she did AMAZING with him! He chose the police car and he loved to turn the wheels. Karen did a fantastic job with his head movements and movements. I will gladly pay for his haircut again if she's able to cut it! Will def be back for his next cut with her!

I had such a great experience at Sharkey’s Kids Cuts, and I really wanted to share this for other parents like me. Karen, the manager, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made my daughter feel so welcomed the moment we walked in, and her energy was just so kind and patient.I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous before coming because I hadn’t seen many reviews from people of color, especially for kids with natural 4B hair. As a parent, you just want to make sure your child’s hair is handled with care and that the stylist actually understands how to work with their texture. That was really important to me.But Karen completely exceeded my expectations. She took her time and did not rush at all. She was gentle, attentive, and very intentional with everything she did. She made sure my daughter was comfortable the whole time, and that alone meant a lot.What really stood out to me the most is how she made my daughter feel. It was her birthday, and Karen truly made her feel like a princess. You could just see the confidence and happiness on her face when she was done, and as a mom, that meant everything.It’s not always easy finding places that are both kid-friendly and knowledgeable about natural hair, but this experience definitely gave me peace of mind. I’m so glad we gave them a try, and we will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend Karen, the manager, if you’re looking for someone who is patient, skilled, and genuinely cares about your child’s experience.

Went in for our son’s very first haircut today and had the best experience! Karen Arnett was so attentive and made us all feel so comfortable! She checked in asking questions throughout the process to make sure it’s what we wanted. I can’t recommend this place enough :)

We love Sharkey’s! Luca used to not be a big fan of haircuts, there were almost always tears involved. But not now!! Ms. Karen makes him so happy and he is really comfortable around her! His haircut is always just how I like it too!
