Review edited 5/20/26!* I had a second baby, and knew instantly her latch wasn’t right. I took her in at 5 days old and learned about her tongue, lip, and double buccal ties on both cheeks. We were given lots of tips and tricks to help her, referred to body work, etc. I ended up having her ties released with Sherri when my baby was almost 6 weeks old. It was traumatic and sad, but we were absolutely in the best hands! I’ve been on a Facebook group for tongue ties and have seen horror stories of ties being released improperly, etc. The practitioner performing the release matters so much, and Sherri is the absolute best!!! The release day was hard and the stretches sucked, but at 4 months old my baby is so so happy and has so much less tension. I’m extremely happy we had it done, and wouldn’t have trusted just anybody. My pediatrician also didn’t even see the tongue tie because it was posterior Eiffel-tower presentation. So happy I didn’t listen to her. Utah family wellness I the best! We have loved every single person we have worked with there. Shoutout to Chelsea and Sunny, who also helped our sweet gal. We love you all!I was lucky enough to be referred to Utah Breastfeeding and Tongue Tie by a l’activation specialist at IMC when my baby was born. We weren’t necessarily having a hard time on our breastfeeding journey, but I know the importance of having my baby checked and also getting tools to make sure we kept on our successful trajectory! We got in when she was 6 days old and Anne was so fantastic to work with. She taught me a new hold that me and my baby thrive in, and also did a thorough assessment of tongue and lip to see if there were any issues. She taught me a massage technique we are doing to see if we can loosen our babies tongue, as well as a few other developmental techniques to work on our baby. She made me feel so much more confident as a first time mom. I am so happy to have the clinic in my tool belt! We are also lucky they work with our insurance. Would 10/10 recommend for all moms!

The Utah family wellness clinic is truly one of a kind. Between treating me during pregnancy, my little girl when she was born and now my 2 year old for myo therapy. I was first treated by them when I needed an iron infusion during pregnancy. I really enjoyed their care and quickness to get me in. After I had my daughter my midwives noticed she had oral ties and referred me to the Utah family Welles clinic for her to be evaluated. After evaluating her mouth and considering her weight loss since birth we decided to move forward with a release. I had the opportunity of working with Sydney as my lactation consultant and I am so grateful for all of her knowledge and support. Breastfeeding became a very big challenge for my baby girl. Although things did not turn out exactly like I was expecting and hoping, Sydney helped me and my daughter find a feeding path that was right for us and supported both of us every step of the way with a listening ear and some of the best advice and words of encouragement a postpartum mom can hear. Sydney also suggested body work as my daughter seemed to have a lot of tension. We visited Sunny many times and with each visit came a happier, more relaxed, smiley baby who had a lot more interest In food. We love Sunny and her knowledge of the nervous system. Although we don’t have a “successful” breastfeeding journey we definitely have a “successful” feeding journey due to the wonderful team at UFWC. They truly live up to their ability of treating a whole family. During postpartum I had to receive another iron infusion and when I had scheduled that I also scheduled my daughters body work session right after my infusion. During my infusion Anne sat and chatted with me and allowed me to ask her any questions I was having about feedings with my baby. In the matter of 1.5hrs I received an iron infusion, more insight on feedings, and a body work session for baby girl. They can truly do it all. Thank you Utah family wellness clinic you are all so amazing and we are so grateful to have found such an amazing clinic with the most amazing people. I honestly can’t recommend them enough!

We brought our baby here for feeding difficulties and they helped us with stretches for her mouth, weight monitoring, etc. Every person here is supportive, kind, and they really take the time to to listen to your concerns to come up with a plan to best help your baby with feeding. Highly recommend coming here!!!

I had the best experience at Utah Family Wellness. They are amazing and helped my baby and I out so much. Breast feeding was not going well for us and I brought her in about 2 months old. We worked with her tried exercising for a couple weeks then decided a release was the way to go. We did the release about 3 months old and the following 2-3 weeks were a little rough but then it picked up and she started eating so well. We both love breastfeeding now and the whole process was so worth it. It was so great to have the support of Utah family wellness throughout this whole process.

I can’t recommend them enough! Any mother that is struggling with their baby not eating, latching, gaining weight, etc. should consider going there for a consultation. We were turned away by multiple pediatricians thinking it wasn’t worth treating, but I could tell something was still wrong. Thankful they listened, educated, and helped solve an otherwise very difficult eating journey we had for almost 2 months. Their office is very friendly and helps make the process not as intimidating.
