I love the energy at this club. Any gender or fitness level can go. It's so much fun, the coaches are amazing and don't let me slack off with strength exercises (which I would on my own lol), correct my technique with flexibility skills/training.(which helps me, as I just follow what everyone else is doing. If I've forgotten what the coach has explained to the class first), are positive, encouraging and break down the skills/technique, muscles used when doing the skill as well. It's a good way to meet new people and combine a love for gymnastics, fitness and being social/connected to a club in Melbourne. They have two gyms one in Windsor and one in Balaclava. You can use both male apparatus as well being a female, which has been fun/ different to learn.I luv the trampoline with the foam pit and the high rings too, despite being a bit scared of heights, (now I'm an adult). The bands help aid in chin ups on the bars and with splits too, which I aim to one time in my life be able to do the splits :PI really missed gymnastics in the lockdown/ my injures, (that were unrelated to the club) and if my birthday didn't collide with the Xmas party I would of gone to it. I realised how much the sport helps my mental health/ stress levels too. Despite it all, I can still do a handstand just need to practice & build up my strength. There's always good tunes playing to enjoy the gymnastic session, and be a part of the gymnastic community/ journey on what stage of life you're in :) <3 xo
