The absolute best. They saved my grandmother's sewer/plumbing situation. Simple no fluff pricing, they aren't trying to cheat you, just charging you for the job. We had a bad experience with an out of town plumber who was trying to rip off my grandmother. A&P literally saved us. They came through in so many ways. Most of all, they did a fantastic job on the sewer drain. Perfect communication from the office staff to the job supervisor, etc. So many good things to say. The only thing you need to know is if you are in the Kanawha Valley, you have no reason not to use them.

We had an incredibly stressful experience with a gas leak about a month ago. After an initial incident led to the fire department being called to check for a leak and the issue being resolved, the gas company came out to do their own inspection and discovered an additional leak that required our gas to be shut off.That’s when we found A&P Plumbing, and Brandon came out to help us. He was incredibly efficient and had no trouble locating the problem pipe and helping us mitigate the leak. Within about an hour of him arriving, we were able to have the gas company come back out, verify the issue, and remove the faulty valve.During our time with Brandon, we shared a little about our home and the renovation issues we’ve been dealing with, as well as the fact that we’re an active-duty military family preparing for our next move sometime within the next year. I never expected anything beyond getting our plumbing issue fixed, but Brandon’s generosity genuinely brought me to tears.He completely comped the visit and didn’t charge us a single dime for his time or for helping us resolve the gas leak. He certainly didn’t do it because he expected a glowing review, which honestly makes his kindness mean even more. It was simply an incredibly generous thing to do for our family during a stressful situation, and it reminded me that there are still genuinely good people out there who are willing to help others.If I could recommend one plumbing company to anyone in the Charleston area, it would absolutely be A&P Plumbing. They were efficient, reliable, compassionate, and incredibly generous. I called A&P because my mother was hearing water running under the house near the sump pump. They were able to send someone early the next morning. Christian was the technician and very professional. He had to crawl under the house which had standing water from the sump pump issue. He was quickly able to determine that the pipe draining out was clogged. With his diagnostic expertise, we were able to find where the clog was and was able to clear it without heavy equipment. Thank you again Christian and A&P!

They came out to repair a leak in my shower, left to go buy a part, and installed it. I called them back because it was still leaking. I got a call and was told that they believed that the part was defective. They told me that they had to order another one, and that it would be in the next day. I thought the part didn’t come in and that has been over a week ago, and to date they still haven’t come back.Addendum:In regards to the first review there was some missed communication, and now has been resolved satisfactorily. There was never any concern regarding the work, it was was excellent.
