After an unexpected flood last year, many rooms of our 200+ year old house had to be substantially rebuilt, including a full renovation of an upstairs bathroom, refinishing floors throughout the house, rebuilding walls, ceilings, and having custom woodwork done. Roots, quite literally, put our house back together, and it looks even better than it did before the flood. Junior was very communicative and receptive if we ever had tweaks or edits to the day's work, and they did a great job of staying as close to on schedule as possible. Truly, I would gladly use Roots again. Honestly, at our last walkthrough, I turned to Junior and said "So.... about our kitchen.... !" Thank you for everything.

The team at Roots did a great job on my major bedroom/bathroom renovation. The work was top notch, but what I appreciated most was the communication. They were easy to work with, always clear in expectations and very responsive. They understood my wishes for the space and worked on time and on budget to get it done. Consider this: I've already signed the next contract with them for another project.

About a year ago in March I had a pipe burst upstairs and run for about 24 hrs. completely destroying an upstairs bedroom, and downstairs living room, kitchen and office area in my farm house office site. After several months of cleanup and drying out by Servpro. Roots Decks & Remodels had the overwhelming task of coming into an old farm house trashed by water damage and attempt to rebuild all the aforementioned rooms from scratch. Keep in mind old farm house structures are far from square to begin with. To start with, all the guys working on this project were kind, courteous and respectful. Each person seemed to have a specific skill they were good at, i.e.; window installation, flooring, drywall, electrical, etc. I was very happy with the quality of the work and timeliness for completing every phase of the job. They cleaned up around the area everyday after completing the work. I couldn't ask for more than what Roots Decks & Remodels did to transform this water damaged mess into a great looking place. I hate to give them a good recommendation because they may get too much work preventing me from getting them back to do some future jobs for me! Just kidding and I highly recommend Roots Decks & Docks for any project you may have.

They repaired/replaced my failing deck/gazebo with far superior materials and workmanship, in spite of the terrible weather they had to work through. Seemed a bit pricey at first, but the end result is worth it.

I would highly recommend Roots Decks and Remodels. They promptly replied to all communication and came to do the work when promised. Mitchel did an excellent job repairing drywall and matching the paint color. They also repaired a water damaged wood floor and it looks perfect.

We have an apartment building with large porches on all three floors overlooking Seneca Lake. Roots came to replace the flooring and railings. However, Once the flooring was removed - extensive rot was found in most of the supporting structure. Roots called in an engineer and the job became a major overhaul. We gained full confidence in their ability to take on such a large project and restore the porches to a level much better than they ever were!! The finishes Ben, Joe and Junior came up with were high quality and look amazing - much better than we imagined. I would highly recommend the whole team and thank them for their excellent work!!
