I would rate Renaissance Appraisal a 4.5 out of 5. Speed of the report, clarity of the report, and ease of scheduling being the primary reason for the rating. One thing I wanted more of from the report is taking into account any special features of the home like :premium appliances, 3 car garage, finished basement, for example. But we were able to do that comparison ourselves by looking at the comparison homes used in the report.

I’m honestly shocked by all the five-star reviews for Jimmy Roberts, because my experience couldn’t have been more disappointing. From the start, he was rude—he actually swore at us. He spent less than five minutes in our home and took terrible photos.I only caught him swearing because it was picked up on my security cameras—he was mumbling to himself as he walked through. I honestly don’t know how he’s still in business or licensed. If you want someone fair, I wouldn’t recommend him.When it came to the appraisal, he dismissed every improvement we’d made—paint, flooring, kitchen, bathroom—saying that nothing we did added value. In his report, he wrote that we hadn’t done any home improvements in fifteen years, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

Very nice guy and prompt with time. My only complaint was he didn't remove his shoes, have booties to cover his shoes, or even ask if he needs to remove them, but simply walked right in with his shoes on.
