My wife and I just took their new class, end grain butcher block and it was fantastic! We got to meet some of the members and everyone was extremely friendly. Wood (lol) absolutely recommended! The teacher was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and made the class super enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I had the best time learning to make our cutting board. Ethan was easy going and made the wood shop feel much more approachable. We will definitely be back to learn more!

I took the floating shelf class. It was a lot of fun. They do a great job of showing you the ropes without doing everything for you. If you ever wanted to see what a wood shop is like and what it would take to work on some of your own projects I highly recommend a class.

My husband and I attended the floating shelf class and it was so much fun. The teachers are incredibly attentive to detail and make sure you’re well informed on how to use all the power tools and proper safety precautions with everything. They also ensure your piece turns out absolutely perfect. We left feeling much more confident with woodworking in general and now we have functional shelves for our bathroom! Highly recommend and will come back!

Had so much fun at the butcher block class! Isaiah was our teacher and he was great! He explained all the machines well and I felt like I understood how to operate everything safely during the class. It was so fun! I would totally recommend it! We did have quite a few people in our class, around eight, so the class did run long, since we all had to use the same machines. But if you have a night, it is definitely worth it! I learned so much! Thanks so much Community Woodshop!

The classes are very well taught - they do an excellent job of showing you what to do, how to do it safely, and why each decision is made. Great introduction to woodworking that only made me want to learn more!

I went with a group of friends to make a cutting board tonight and it was so fun! I was worried about cutting a finger and generally messing it up, but it turned out so good with the help of the instructors. What a fun time with friends or for a date.

Attended a butcher block class for a girl's night and it was a perfect outing. The staff were knowledgeable and made sure we were all comfortable with each step as we moved through the process. We had a great time and left with unique, quality items we will use for years to come.

I bought this as a couples Valentine’s Day present for my boyfriend, and it was the perfect date night activity. My goal was to not lose a finger and make something cute, and I am pleased to say that both goals were reached! This was my first time woodworking, and the staff did an awesome job guiding us through the process while ensuring safety :) 10/10 would recommend!

Great classes and awesome instructors. I was a total novice but they took us through each step without making us feel dumb. It was fun to make something useful that I’d never know how to make or have the opportunity to try. This is a really good resource for someone who wants to get into woodworking but doesn’t know where to start.

Took my first class last night and was really blown away by the quality of instruction and how welcoming everyone was. My cutting board broke (my fault for not letting the glue set long enough) but they helped me fix it and I'll be able to come back and finish it up next week. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back without a doubt. Ethan has created a really wonderful space for makers to come together and share knowledge :)

I really like this company. I have visited a couple times and it’s a really well put together shop. Honestly makes so much sense to just pay them a little to use their decked out shop than invest thousands into my own tools. I definitely will be using their shop in the future to do some furniture projects I have planned.
