Had a terrible experience at this salon a couple of weeks ago. Bola - the owner was rude, condescending, unpleasant, and impatient. Had been coming here for months, but decided to stop due to the unprofessionalism. Decided to return due to an emergency (hair stylist cancelled at last minute). Bola was communicating with me from two different numbers before I arrived. This has always been a problem. I responded on one line letting her know I would be a little late. When I arrived she did not greet me or say anything. Just came in, plopped down on a chair, and said nothing to me. When I greeted her and asked if she got my messages about arriving late, she said I have heard nothing from you. When I showed her the messages I sent she just wanted to change the subject. No apology. Nothing. There was other drama, too, like going live on tik tok while braiding my hair without asking my consent. I look up and see half of my face on the camera. She says over and over your face is not showing. Was it really that hard to ask my permission first? I did appreciate her allowing me to leave the seat twice to run an errand and take work call (it was a very long appt). But boy the second time I got up spurred a lot of eye rolling, lip smacking, and hard breathing. The icing on the cake was that this service cost $200 more than what the lady who cancelled on me would have charged. Never returning again under any circumstances.
