I would give 6 stars if possible for Trident AC. I got two other quotes for a new system and Joey’s quote beat them all with added extras. Being a Veteran myself, supporting a veteran owned business was a no brainer.The work was done on time plus it looked better than the original system. The owner Joey, and his worker did a amazing job! My wife is sickly and when I called and explained the situation, he arrived immediately. He came the next day to install a new aircondioning unit. Joey and Giovanni did superior work. Joey responded quickly to our service call and was able to get our condenser working again so we could get out of the heat. He informed us and we fully understood it was a temporary fix because the unit had a leak. Our system is 15 years old and looking and running rough. However, because we were also getting an estimate for a whole new system, he was willing to work with us to make the entire process from temporary fix to completion of a new install affordable.The estimate, labor included and with a few extras and upgrades, was 1/4th the cost of their competitors. Giovanni had the unit up and running the following day. The system looks beautiful. It runs so quietly and efficiently.Every experience we have had with Trident has been pleasant, professional, and fair priced. My 90 year old mother thought she was getting her air conditioners serviced by Tommy’s Air Conditioning which she and my late father had been using for years. Instead, a representative from Florida Comfort Air Conditioning showed up, took pictures and convinced her to sign a contract replacing both of her air conditioning units for $31,740.00. She also gave Florida Comfort a deposit of $1,000.00.I immediately told my mother to cancel it and contacted Florida Comfort Air Conditioning confirming that it was cancelled. They agreed to destroy the check. I contacted Trident Air Conditioning. Joey Boyle inspected and serviced both air conditioning units that same afternoon. He explained that they didn’t need replacing. He drained and cleaned both units. He added some coolant to one of the units as well. He charged less than $500.00. He's outstanding.

They did a great job on the install, everything was beautiful on my new a/c unit. Five weeks later we have no air and they refused to warranty their work, refused our calls and left us without air. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

Our AC wouldn't turn on, so we called Trident. They worked us in on the same day. Joey ran around town at 4pm trying to find a fuse for us. He replaced it and found that the compress had blown. He gave us a quote, explained our options, and listened to our concerns. He said he would look up warranty on our unit and get a new compressor ordered for us as soon as he can on Monday morning. We thought that we would just have to deal with no AC until next week, but he had other plans. Around 6pm, his wife showed up with a portable room unit! My husband has lung problems and the heat complicates that. Thanks to Joey and his wife, my husband was able to sleep comfortably last night. Thank you for going above and beyond! We are truly thankful and feel blessed that they were put in our path.

HVAC Tech worked late into the evening to install the complete new system, and made sure we had fully functioning A/C for the muggy overnight period. Joey was awesome! So after the storm came through our thermostat started turning off and on, eventually it shut off completely so I gave this company a call and they came out right away!! Usually you have to wait 4 hrs before the AC guys show up, but this guy came 2 hours ahead of time and gave us a courtesy call to tell us he was coming (again never happens with other companies)!! He was honest and was able to fix our AC with out it costing us an arm and a leg! It’s hard to find good places like this anymore, especially in Florida. Glad we found him!

Joey and his crew at Trident are wonderful! **This is the team you want for your air conditioning needs.**We had gotten many quotes elsewhere some months ago when our older AC unit began having old age issues. We knew we needed to save up to have it replaced. But other big expenses hit us in the interim, including the craziness of 2020.Our old unit only gave up the ghost recently. We looked for local companies with great ratings to give us updated quotes, and Trident's customer reviews appeared on the top of the list we saw online.Joey came the same day and examined the unit thoroughly and crunched numbers and specs right then to find the right fit and brand choices. There was no upselling, pressure sales baloney, or talking over our heads. He sent an exact quote via email by evening and answered further questions we had and made price adjustments towards the best fit for our budget and particular AC situation.We reviewed our old quote notes from the past, and had another company come out for an additional one. But of the past and current ones, we just had the best feeling about Trident.They came out exactly when they said they would, and every worker was goodnatured and hardworking. The team was remarkably cheerful and efficient taking out our old equipment, putting in the new, and correcting some previous installation issues by constructing a support cage and leveling the unit at the correct elevation for drain efficiency, etc. Joey made sure some simple logistical issues were improved for best use and performance, and kept us updated along the way.It was a very hot day! The team worked thoroughly and cleaned up afterwards, leaving the installation area beautifully clean and the new unit and surrounding area gleaming. The instructions about use and future maintenance were straightforward, and the house now cools better than it ever did with the original unit.Because Joey fixed the elevation and drainage particulars, these should never be a future problem. The team went the extra mile without it being for the purpose of surprising us with extra costs. We opted for some budget components and some optional, and Joey's price was very fair and the work of high quality. And went the extra mile.All we can say is THANK YOU, we're glad we found you, we hope we never need any repairs, but if any future needs arise we're calling Trident!If anyone has AC issues and reads this review, you need this company. I contacted this business about a month ago when my AC/thermostat started having issues. I was so impressed at how quickly Joey was able to get out here to my house, fix the problem, and was super affordable! I will only be calling Trident from now on!! I am so happy to be completely done with those huge corporate businesses that take days to show up, never do the job right, and charge an arm and a leg.
