When I need to hire a trade for work at my home, I typically look at reviews or talk to neighbors who have maybe used the same company. In this instance I had received a flyer, I needed a plumber, read the reviews on this plumber, saw that they were very good so called. In return….I got a prompt call back, a convenient appointment scheduled, a friendly professional who also happened to be highly competent and a great problem solver! My plumbing is older, there were issues. I really appreciated how Josh went to work on solving them. Besides that, he noticed and repaired (no extra charge) a small leak from my water softener and replaced some old hardware/plumbing on my laundry sink! I would hire Josh and Smith Plumbing and Rooter again in a heartbeat. He is more than reasonable in his pricing. This guy cares! Highly recommend!

Josh is amazing all around, and so is his wife! He has helped us for three different issues in the last month and I trust him implicitly with his work. I had a leak spring on my main shut off on a Friday night and I called him in a panic and he dropped everything and came right over. He was so reassuring and guided us through the process with confidence. He is a third generation plumber and his knowledge seems to be ingrained on a cellular level. I also had the pleasure of meeting his father who is also a nice guy. Josh is our go-to for plumbing help and I feel very at ease knowing that we have someone who is very responsive and that we can trust. I am recommending him to everyone when plumbing conversations come up. Thank you Josh and team!

Fantastic service! Plumbers never know what they’re stepping into when replacing a hot water tank and ours was a challenge. With the tight spaces and unexpected twists of a house built in 1937, Josh and his team were amazing. He responded quickly, installed the new tank and make sure everything was put back exactly where it belonged. The follow-up call later that evening to “check in” and ensure we had hot water was an added level of customer service that didn’t get unnoticed. I definitely will reach out again if in need.

Josh was prompt and did a great job. Installing our R/O system. I took 5 bids and he wanted, and received, the job. He's our plumber from now on
