A great stay at the Ouse Bridge House. It could not have been better located for us, as we were visiting friends who lived nearby. It is a great quite location, with plenty of on-site parking, and with excellent direct access to the A66, making both the rest of the National Park and North Cumbia easily accessible. Fabulous views across the lake and Skiddaw. The guests lounge is a great facility, providing those staying with space to spread out and relax if you spend on evening in. The hosts, Ben and Virginia, are really friendly and are on hand virtually all the time to help if needed. Breakfast is top notch, all made fresh with lots of choice.

What an amazing get away with such a lovely family that run an amazing establishment. From the start to the finish they thought of everything that we needed for our walking getaway. The B+B has amazing lake views and amazing views of the mountains. The breakfast email and ideas was a breath of fresh air, a very well thought out plan that means that you get the breakfast that you are feeling for. Thanks Ben and Virginia for all your help and hospitality.

Lovely B&B overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Plenty of parking. Very considerate, kind owners who work hard to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Tea and coffee in rooms and lounge. Honesty bar available. Selection of books and board games. Rooms 1, 6 and 7 are clean, well decorated, with great views. Breakfast is ordered the night before using a link to a website. Good selection of options and portions were a good size. Recommend the porridge.

Highly recommend this beautiful B&B! Location is amazing, situated with lake & mountain views to die for and a short drive from Keswick. Breakfasts are amazing plus they know what good coffee is about 😉 My room had a huge bay window & I never got sick of waking up to the lake & mountain views. Super comfy bed, very clean & everything you could ask for. Perfect base for any hiker or adventure seeker. Ben & Virginia are wonderful hosts & I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Another lovely visit at this warm and welcoming guest house - we are Ouse Bridge House regulars, like many others. Ben and Virginia are brilliant hosts - so friendly, generous and kind. A real family atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and clean - we had a lovely en-suite room overlooking the lake. A really handy location for all the delights of Keswick and beautiful Borrowdale. A great base for walking in the hills or swimming in the lakes. I had a bit of work to do while I was there - great phone and wifi reception for Zoom calls, etc. And a home-cooked breakfast to die for. Nice touches such as fresh milk and very good coffee.
