The report influenced the amount I was willing to pay for the house. I now know what maintenance it will need over the next few years.I appreciate how Lucas called me right after the inspection so that I could increase my bid before the deadline. Then the next day he was available to ho over the details I did not understand. The photos were helpful, pointing out minor things that I could fix that would make a big difference.

I am very happy that I found Lucas to complete a building and pest inspection on my property. From initial discussions to booking in, Lucas was very professional and prompt which allowed me to lock in everything easily. Lucas invited me on premise to take me through his initial findings which was brilliant. He was patient in taking me through the findings, answering my questions on defects, which actually resulted in me not buying the home. This is exactly what you need from the right inspector, to be thorough and identify all issues to make the right decision. Even in the terrible weather, Lucas when through every part of the home from outside roof to all around the home. I look forward to working with Lucas again.

As I was purchasing an investment property in Melbourne while living in Sydney, I was unable to attend the property inspection myself. My buyer’s agent, BPG Property Advocacy, referred me to Lucas from Build and Pest West to carry out the building and pest inspection. After completing the inspection, Lucas personally called me and gave me a clear overview of the condition of the property. I was really impressed with the way he explained his findings and highlighted the important things I needed to know.He then sent me the full inspection report on the same day without any delay. The report was detailed and easy to understand, and the findings also helped me negotiate with the seller, which added real value to the inspection.Throughout the process, I found Lucas to be very serious about his work, professional, responsive and trustworthy. When buying interstate and you cannot inspect the property yourself, having someone on the ground whose assessment you can rely on makes a huge difference. Lucas gave me that confidence.A big thank you to my buyer’s agent BPG for the referral, and especially to Lucas from Build and Pest West for the excellent service.Highly recommended and definitely a 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
