Use to go there a lot for ammo after Hyde & Kidd close back in the 70's. Hadn't been there in close to 30 years. Went in a while back very friendly and knowledgeable. Haven't used the range yet but hope to soon.

Messaged employee at brown bear a few times and always had a really quick response. Went in to look at an AR-15 and after talking with the employee, made a purchase. Great info, super personal attention. The guy was super friendly and kept things moving along. In customer service thats everything, dont waste the customers time and make purchasing something feel like a chore. He was great. I was in and out and got exactly what i wanted at a good price. This is coming from someone who has literally grown up in a gun shop( my grandpa owns one)! Ill be back whenever I need or want something locally

One employee makes a difference. Bought from there before, used range before. But last week, ugh. Egotistical employee seemed like he would only sell firearms that HE would want to buy. Then insulted my wife. Went to Michigun, what a difference.

I have heard negative stuff about this place, but have never personally had a bad experience. I have dealt with them on several occasions, the staff is very knowledgeable, answered any questions I had, and made me felt welcome every time I was there. The range is more than adequate for pistols, and they have a good selection of goods that are very reasonably priced. I have purchased a few goods there, and they have always made me feel welcome.
