George and Angela had my two dogs for four weeks and were wonderful from start to finish. They picked them up from my home in San Antonio and brought them back home afterward.Throughout the four weeks, they checked in frequently, listened carefully to my concerns about my dogs’ behaviors, and worked to address each one. My dogs came home noticeably calmer and more obedient. Are they perfect now? Of course not! I have work to do as their owner to maintain the training and consistency that George and Angela instilled in them.One thing I especially appreciated was that they came to my home and spent about two hours teaching me how to continue the work they'd done with the dogs. We role-played different scenarios, and they showed me the proper way to address behaviors and help my dogs maintain their calm composure during high-stress situations.I am so thankful for George and Angela and everything they did for my dogs—and for me! If they were closer, I would absolutely use them for weekend board-and-train refreshers from time to time. Highly recommend The Pooch Pros!

George and Angela are an amazing team. I have 2 Great Pyrenees (brothers), 15 months old, who are used as livestock guard dogs but had never had any other training. They wouldn't even let me or my wife put a collar on them, but by the end of 3 weeks George and Angela have them eager to get their collar on and work on their training. George and Angela's approach is gentle and positive (as much as possible,) and they have spent a lot of time teaching me how to work with the dogs. It's a rewarding and enjoyable experience and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone wanting help with their dog's training and behavior.John Stevenson, MD

The Pooch Pros truly transformed our dog from being very reactive and controlling the house, to a family dog that can calmly interact with others. We put our dog (rescue German shepherd mix) in their board and train program for 5 weeks and our dog came back with major improvements. The Pooch Pros were also amazing with transitioning our dog back into our home and making sure we knew how to continue promoting the good behavior. Even weeks after when we had issues, The Pooch Pros came out to help correct the behavior. I would 10/10 recommend them for dog training, they are truly professionals and very good at their craft!

I did the board and Training option with Pooch Pros. During the boarding period they were consistent with their communication by sending me pictures, videos, and texts updates on my dog Milo. After the boarding time was up they helped my boyfriend and I navigate through working with Milo and making sure we understood how to move forward. Absolutely love them and highly recommend!!

We found the best two trainers for our two puppies. Pooch Pros are excellent in every part of training. Our puppies arrived home with much more training than we imagined. My husband & I can't recommend POOCH Pros enough, they went above & beyond. I would give 10 stars if I could! We have a very stubborn Great Dane puppy. George and Angela listened to all of our concerns and in 6 weeks we have a whole new dog!!! She’s calm, well behaved and easily corrected for bad behavior. She walks on a leash calmly with myself, my husband and even my 3 year old son! I love that they didn’t just drop her off, they stayed with my family to explain and teach us all of her commands and how to implement them with our other dogs. I am THRILLED at the result of our Lunas training! If you’re looking for boarding and training this is HANDS DOWN the best company to use.

I cannot recommend the Pooch Pros enough! I was looking for a team of people to board and train my six-year-old pit for months. The pooch pros came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Not only did they send me weekly updates on my dog’s progress but also pictures and videos so I felt connected the entire journey. The reason I wanted to board my dog was because she was notoriously hyper zero lease training, no house etiquette, etc. when it was time for my dog to come home, they did an in person visit that lasted several hours, and they literally taught me how to keep up With the structure and training that they implemented. I can now walk my dog every day take her in public spaces and more importantly, have family over to the house without my dog being a burden because she is so well mannered and trained now. They offer a wide array of services, one of which I will continue to utilize every month to ensure consistent growth with my dog If you are even slightly considering boarding your training, your dog I highly recommend the pooch pros. They quite literally have changed my dogs life for the better thank you guys!

The Pooch Pros came to us when we needed help the most for our beloved puppy . It was such a relief to hand over care to them while we were abroad. They communicated with us all throughout the boarding and training. The updates took a load off our minds and enabled us to enjoy ourselves though we missed him so much. We were also taught how to continue the training they started when they brought him back to us. He is still our lively, energetic puppy but with much better manners!

I was in awe of the dog that came back home to me after three weeks. She was able to execute commands like place and wait for me almost immediately after coming home. Angela and George are amazing at what they do. I really appreciated their updates and pictures/videos. It was hard to be without Winnie for that long, but I felt my dog was in the best hands.

My husband and I had been at our wits end trying to get our boys (Tug and Blu) to get along since we joined in this life together and combined our households. Pooch Pros were AMAZING! We have 4 dogs and the rules they taught us have turned our home from chaos to peace. They focused on our Bully and he's so much better! All the pups are better behaved, answer commands better, don't act out and the uncontrolled barking gets better everyday. George and Angela were awesome in helping me with my Standard Poodle. We were having trouble with our dog going after our free range chickens. With the knowledge I received from Pooch Pro’s and consistency our dog is no longer scouting my chickens. It has been a life changer for all of us. They were very kind and professional. We got our pup from the shelter. He’s 3, and we don’t know what life looked like for him. We do know he was in the shelter for at least 6 months. Naturally, when we brought him home, he was pretty anxious and overprotective of his new home and owners. My husband and I didn’t feel like we had the skills to help him, so after a month of his behavioral problems worsening, we called the Pooch Pros. They were able to get him in for a 6 week board and train immediately due to a cancellation they had.Because we hadn’t had him very long, they altered their training to fit our families needs. They were extremely communicative the whole time which helped me a ton.I’ve never done anything like this or had these kinds of problems with a new pup, so to say I was nervous about sending him away is an understatement! But it was worth every penny.They didn’t magically fix him. He still has things to work on, but what’s important is that we now have the tools and the confidence to make him feel safe and continue the training they started.We’ve had him back a few weeks now. He is so much happier because he knows he doesn’t have to feel anxious. He knows we’re in charge AND we will take care of him. My home is a better place because of the help the Pooch Pros provided.
