It is hard for me to write a review that truly captures my gratitude toward the Vida Elevada team. What I experienced for more than a year at Vida Elevada went far beyond chiropractic treatments. In this place, I found kindness, support, care, laughter, and genuine relief.I first arrived at Vida Elevada in April 2024 with a long list of physical and emotional issues that I could not fully identify or name. I was fortunate that my initial assessment and treatments were conducted by Dr. Joline Yeager, the founder and principal of Vida Elevada. I say “fortunate” because she rarely sees patients now—she is incredibly busy! She took the time to explain how the process would unfold. I appreciated her honesty and deep knowledge; she did not offer me a quick fix. She was clear that my healing would be a longer journey, because that is what my body and nervous system required. She assured me that we would reassess as needed to course-correct and be responsive to how my body was adapting to treatment. The results genuinely surprised me. By my second evaluation in June, I could clearly see how my posture—my head, legs, and spine—had shifted; and more importantly, my nervous system had begun to calm. This had a positive impact on my digestion, sleep, and ability to manage stress. The treatments at Vida Elevada became even more essential after I underwent emergency gallbladder surgery and faced a long recovery period.I was fortunate to receive treatment from many of the doctors at Vida Elevada —Drs. Apolline, Rosa Angela, Cleo, Keira, Dr. Alban, and others— each one with their unique techniques and always with care and kindness. And in Joanna, I found one of the best massage therapists I could have asked for. Having massage therapy integrated with chiropractic care made a tremendous difference, as Joanna and my chiropractor could communicate and coordinate what I needed most.At Vida Elevada, I learned that chiropractic care is not a “one-and-done” solution, but ongoing care to keep our bodies and nervous systems balanced. And for those who might disagree, I ask this: if you go to regular dental cleanings, why wouldn’t you do the same for your chiropractic health?Thank you to everyone at Vida Elevada for supporting me and accompanying me on my health journey during my time in Peru. I promise to continue with chiropractic care here in the U.S.—as soon as I find someone as wonderful as all of you!—and I will be sure to visit you the next time I am in Lima. ¡Un gran abrazo!P.S. My mom’s Google review is coming soon. 😊
