Sweet Sixteen!! The ballroom is fully renovated and beautiful. Food was delicious and better than expected being its a hotel ballroom. Allison was very accommodating and flexible of our needs. Price was on point with plenty of food for all.

The Sterling Ballroom receives my highest of praises! My husband and I held our wedding here in September and when we booked, we had no idea what it could be due to the renovations that were happening. Allison, our fearless wedding coordinator/catering sales director, went above and beyond to make sure renovations that needed to be done would be completed by the time of our wedding so that there would be little to no disruptions. And she absolutely delivered! We met with Allison numerous times throughout our 10 months together working and thinking through the details of the wedding. She was helpful, organized, responsible and just a joy to work with! Our wedding was spectacular - our guests had the best time and the food was delicious! The high tide and the carving stations were HUGE hits; all of us are foodies and everyone was just in awe by the caliber of the food quality! The entire staff was attentive, friendly, fun and really took care of everyone. Sindy who helped Allison with some of the coordination was remarkable and so helpful. She was such a lovely person to work with and made sure my mom was taken care of, and that is so appreciated in the midst of a hectic day! Our maître d' Nemo was so wonderful and made sure everything was set up properly and packed up at the end of the night, and that we stuck to the schedule. He was by our side throughout the night and just made sure we always had everything we needed. They were just a dynamic team. They coordinated not just the wedding, but the rehearsal dinner and our post wedding breakfast. We also had a whole tea ceremony the morning of the wedding and they made sure that was in tip top shape! I also need to give Faye, Brooke, Melissa and Andrew huge shoutouts for taking care of our guests who stayed at the Doubletree. They were organized and made sure everything was stress-free! This was really a wonderful experience and I am still on cloud nine from this dream of a wedding. Thank you to this entire team so much! Please give these guys a raise!! Love, Tiffany and Erick

I never write negative reviews but felt the need to share our experience. We toured the ballroom for my daughters quinceañera and fell in love with it. We also had a first great impression of Allison. When we tried to book the date we wanted for 2024 after a week we were told by Allison that her director was working with someone else for a possible event on our same date and asked us to give her a week I asked her to please let us know either way. Since this ballroom was our favorite at that point we decided to wait. Never heard back from Allison or anyone on her team. I even sent a follow up email asking for an update a week later with no reply to date. On this day and age when everything is about customer service I find this very unprofessional, a very simple email letting us know they couldn’t accommodate our date would have been enough or perhaps trying to offer us a different date. Much unnecessary stress during the planning process.

Allison and her team are amazing. Mother of the groom here and I hosted a rehearsal dinner in one of the banquet rooms and it was amazing. I was able to get in early to decorate and food was great. My son’s wedding was next day and their Cocktail hour was perfect. I was able to watch Allison do the set up with her team for my son’s wedding and she took such great amazing care to make sure everything was in the place that they wanted it perfect I highly recommend

The place was beautiful the service was not good at all brought the wrong dinner an then took half hour to get the right one the rolls were like hockey pucks an the steak was over cooked now the good side the salmon was delicious

Fairly good experience here with a few hitches. The service was only above mediocre but it always is with large table count so I'm not gonna knock off a point for it, especially with staff shorts going around. The food was mostly good with two exceptions. One member at our table got a well done filet mignon when the others were all cooked to mid rare or medium. After he reasonably requested a replacement, he bafflingly received a well done strip steak. I felt bad for him. The rest was on par except the deserts course which seemed like it was still partially frozen and "sweating" while it defrosted on the table.

Just got married there last Sunday...we received so many compliments from family and friends about what a great time they had and how beautiful everything was!!! Thank you to Allison, Nemo and the whole staff for making our wedding day a special one!!! M&J 9/26/21!!!
